Yeah, jenafuller and mrgreyregrets are correct about this version. But don't fear, someone will upload the unedited version (if it isn't already). I'd do it, except I'd have to hook up the turntable and then figure out how to create a file to upload to YT...and that's two things too many.
In the meantime, let's just be thankful for the technology that lets us longtime UFO fans get together and exposes the kiddies to one of the greatest rock bands of all time...:)
Definitely missing the second "we can't wait from day to day" part after the second chorus. I had this LP when it was new and I know this song by heart. Not gonna fault you for it though.
Awesome album. I was about 13 years old and my father gave me this vinyl. Used to play it on our worn out record player, still can hear the crackling in it while listening to this LOL Thank you uploading this, it's wonderful to hear it in such great quality.
Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath...
You can't compare UFO to these bands. UFO had a sense of melody that carried them in another direction. They could be "heavy", but had (like Donkey in Shrek) more layers.
@andreaneilcmc UFO surely is a band that's worth more reputation that it has
It is indeed impossible to compare them with the bands you said since all of them have a lot of things uncommon. UFO played much simpler riffs that could still drive you headbanging in a time that headbangs didn't really exist :P. The heavily distorted sound and fast pace of UFO's melody is what I believe made that stand out from other bands in that time.
I like UFO, but they have to fight with gods like Deep Purple or Led Zeppelin. After that, metal takes it all: Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath...
Nevertheless, "Doctor, doctor" is one of my favourites songs of all times.
I knew about KISS. I knew about Black Sabbath. I knew about King Crimson. I knew about Iron Butterfly. I knew about Mountain. How the HELL did I know nothing about UFO?

I love Obsession, but I gotta admit, after the masterpieces No Heavy Petting and Lights Out were it was kind of a disappointment.

The problem with UFO is that there is no problem. Great hard rock band that nobody seems to remember.
