This guy WAS the Weird Al guy from UHF for real in the early 70's in KC. He was Uncle Ed on 41 Treehouse Lane (kid show) by day, the Creeper hosting monster movies at night, doing most the commercials and voice overs etc. for Channel 41. But sadly, due to his probation, living in S.Carolina, it's against the law to own a computer if your still on probation, so he got 5 years imprisonment for breaking the law, and now he is in a hospital with a tumor in his neck and trouble breathing. very sad.

that was a lot of fun, thanks - for better or worse Edarem's hard to take your eyes off of. To answer any questions of why he's in jail - it's actually his internet recognition that got him in trouble. Internet use was a violation of his probation as a convicted sex offender. of children. Makes' ol' edarem that much more creepy, eh?

In the state where he lives, criminals guilty of any sex-related offense are not allowed to use the internet. He would upload a lot of pretty funny/weird/entertaining videos, and a lot of people enjoyed them. He broke the law doing this, so now he's in jail.
