@LightningAlchemist1 You're not the only one. The only other scene that I cried very hard was Hughes' death. But to be honest, I think I cried the most during Greed's death. I every time I think about it (I know, I'm such a baby) but he was that great of a character.

But the mangaka, Hiromu Arakawa, commissioned the anime studio to come up with their own storyline for the first anime, which was released when she wasn't anywhere near done with the manga. She provided some input and guidelines for how things should play out, and even told them how she was going to end her story, all so the studio could come up with a different ending. So well over half of the first anime wasn't even one quarter of the manga's story.

I really felt Hoheheim;s death. Its sad to be the last of your generation. He was carrying a heavy burden. I am happy for him. I didn't watch the final episode because I didn't want the anime to end. Greed got satisfied in the end. But his death was sad. Envy's death was kool but he didn't go out with the bang that I had expected. In all it was a bittersweet show. I hope the producers got some awards for it.
