  • Out of curiosity. Would an RB26 or SR20 nissan engine fit in this plane?

  • I think I like the Rotax 914 sound better. I would love to fly one though!

  • they could have used a 12 cylinder rolls royce for really nice sound :D

  • I WANT ONE!!!!!

  • a V6 Suzuki engine..

is it the 3 litre engine of the Grand Vitara?

  • Nice sound to it

  • Very nice replica of the venerable P-51. I always wanted to fly one. Maybe one day I can afford to buy a TF-51 since this is more affordable than a real one of course. Ah, great video too! Thanks for sharing it.

  • Nice little replica, looks like she flies real nice to..would be great to own/fly one day, as owning a full size would be unrealistic. Cool.

  • The engine is Honda 2.5l V6 ....one of the dealers option I think .... Hope that going to start build one next year..... amazing video ....great job !!!!!!

  • You put a Jap engine into a P-51D?

  • @mrceebees14 that is not a "P-51D" its a replica plane. its made to LOOK like one, albeit at an affordable price.

  • Still, it makes me want to puke.

  • @mrceebees14 certainly very ironic...!

  • no substitute for the real deal, but i wouldnt turn my nose up at it definately more affordable :)

  • That is a cute "little fart" with a cute sound to match!! No its not a merlin, but who cares? I would love to have something like that. Carry on....Don

  • nice video of a novel aircraft.

  • I would love to see one of these with the full sized Packard V-1650 Supercharged engine in it!

  • That engine sounds gay

  • Really? huh.. You must not care about these old war birds at all then. Cause the Packard V-1650-3 (-3 for supercharged) was one of the few infamous "merlin" engines that were used in the P51 mustang during it's time. But I don't imagine you give a shit about any of that, do you..

  • I mean the v6 one

  • That would be cool, but the airplane is not even big enough to even fit a Lycoming or Continental.

  • lol ya, I know. It's too bad cause it would be like putting a 427 into a VW Beetle or a Hayabusa into a smart car, lol! Stickin the old merlin engine into this little guy would make it one hell of a speed demon!

  • Wouldn't work. The engine would be too big for the airframe.

  • ya.. I kinda knew that. I was just sayin how cool it would be if you could..

  • About one year ago in Rennes (France) I saw a full P51D flight, accompanied by one of the 2 only working Bf109G remaining on Earth. That was good. I was 5 meters close to the P51 when its engine was started. Amazing vintage sound.

  • What a beautiful bird that is.

  • great movie love the sound of it

  • Cute little beasty. Lucky I can't afford one!

  • yay first post, nice vid and plane.
