Getting your first light show for less than $80.00

Oh crap! Im having trouble plugging in my scanners!!! Well srsly, I have a set of ADJ comscan leds, and I am 14. I didn't have any trouble with them and I know how to use all the features. So why on earth should an adult have to but something like that to start out, I mean my first lights are DMX scanners!

Them 'toys' you have there have easy blow low wattage bulbs when for the same price you could get 2 par 64 led's with RGB colour mixing.. professional lights low price, better quality..... not babyish

No need to replace bulbs with 100,000 hors LED's!

I advise to this guy.. Start again with your business!

ok well, i think this is a great idea for starters, yea im young but i have been doing lights for 2 years!!! i have a chauvet eclipse, american dj revo 4 amedrican dj tri phase american dj flash beam chauvet vue 3.1 and american dj quad gem, this is the perfect way for starters and great advice too!

"The bulb that came with it burned out" is a term from the dark ages. Get LED Color Banks. Cost a bit more ($140 for 2 rather than $80) and bulbs don't burn out or break. You get what you pay for, and if I paid a DJ who showed up with those I'd be very disappointed. Sorry to sound harsh, but what you're showing is good for someone to smoke up in their bedroom with, not be a professional.

Nice lighting... Jandre from stallion sound. South-africa... would not recomend putting lights on speakers because of the vibration the bulbs will blo faster. put them eny other place exept on the speakers thats a big NO.

Cheap professional lightshow? Those are the lights everyone DREADS a DJ turning up with. Cheap gobo's or moonflowers are MUCH preferable. Also, any DJ's watchign this: 2nd hand DOESNT mean bad, check them out first, but by all means 2nd hand lights are -not- neccecarily bad; this guy appears to be a goon, but everyone has a different taste i guess.

If I was going for this approach to a light show i would go with the chauvet dj bank because it is led but I think it looks a lot better to have a good centerpeice and some led par cans.

I don't think so. A nice light show is important for every good DJ. But this crap is just enough for a bathroom... I know that you have more lights but I wouldn't say that those lights would be a good start for a light show. If you can't afford buying good lights, forgett it... I think that every LJ needs some Pars, you can get complete packages with 8 Par56 with everything what you need for less than200€. Please don't think that those 2 lights make a good lightshow, they look so cheap.
