i know you posted this a while ago but i took a nutrition class last semester and i don't recommend trying any supplements that aren't tested by the FDA. when supplements aren't tested you become the experiment . there is another factor that could also cause infertility in men and woman but it has to do with motile properties (cilia & flagella formation) ..i can't remember what the condition is called but artificial insemination would work fine if motility was the factor.
our doc said to take proxeed too. i looked up the ingredients and did other research online. heres how it went..my hubby had 7 million sperm count morphology motility everything bad (i cant remember the values) the first time we went to specialist. after taking a combo of L-carnitine l-arginine coq10 flaxseed oil vitamin d3 pine bark extract multi vit. alpha lipoic acid, tribulus, wild oats, its up to 18.5 million. and every thing has improved and he has a hormone problem we are trying to fix
i take 5 testosterone boosters a week one for each day plus vitamins i work out out eat celery alot of peanuts and take cold showers and my sperm count is through the roof do that and you will be fine
You guys sound like us when you talk about the insensitive comments and ignorant comments and non understanding people give to couples going through infertility. And I've definitely had down on my knees crying moments. Basically every month I've gotten my period for four years. It hurts, I heard everything you said, again than kyou for raising the awareness and sharing your story. xox
Wishing you all the best in this journey to motherhood. It's longer than it should be, and you're right, we definitely have had our share of break down crying moments too. But we can't give up. Hang in there and thanks for watching :)
My husbands motility was 30 percent five months ago. He got on L Carnitine and Acetyl L Carnitine and we did IUI this past Tuesday and the nurse told us his motility went up to 61 percent! She was even surprised about the L Carnitine, so she wrote it down to suggest to other male patients who have low motility. We are holding out hope that this only increases our chances of getting a positive test in two weeks. Going on five years soon of trying to concieve :(
Wow, that's awesome!!!! GL with your IUI's I hope it works for you!!!!! I know how long it's been for us, and 5 yrs must seem like eternity. That's great news though about his results and hopefully you'll be pregnant very soon :)
