Cassandra was raised by her father on a diet of classic American jazz, and she incorporates various pop influence from listening to the radio on some of her songs. Criticizing this translation of a classic bosa nova tune because it is not like the original simply misses the point. This is a restrained and respectful translation into her first language - jazz.
