  • Lovely oldie ! Thanks so much for uploading.

  • This was a 1960 hit in the UK, recorded by Ken Dodd. Famous also as a Fox Trot recorded by Victor Silvester in UK. Originallu a French song 'Mon coeur est un Violin" written by M. Laparcerie, and introduced in the film "Le Petit Garcon Perdu." English lyrics written by J. Kennedy. So if that's too much info, but had just finished researching in another context. I agree about Leslie Uggams lovely voice! Long time fan. Thanks for posting.

  • Now this is what a I call a "Love Song." So well done by the highly talented Leslie Uggams. I really wish that some record company would re-issue her Columbia recordings on CD. Absolutely superb.

  • <3 one of the best poetic songs. I play the violin, so I'll sing it all the time. X3

  • I'm glad that I discovered this in Youtude. To me, this is one of the finest songs I've ever heard. I love it's melody, the lyrics, the singer and the violins.
