  • OUTSTANDING VID!!!!!! GREAT WORK! LEARNED A LOT. THANKS. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

  • I'll have to plunder through the scrap yard soon and cobble together something for my shop this winter... Thanks brother!

I have a wood stove now but WMO is much easier to come by

  • Any progress of the multi-burner yet? One that burns oil, chips, or wood? I'm interested in that especially.

    Thanks.

  • hey this is great but where the heck is the new stuff

    come 2011 porjects

  • yep,, look,s great, plenty of heat, going to make one of them for my shed,,,, thanks,,,,

  • im just confused. if you put in a shop or sumthin how do you ventilate the fumes

  • @TheProfessionalloser

If you put in a shop or building, you would run the exaust flume to the outside. Through the roof or through a wall, and the flume needs to go about 4 feet higher than your building crown.

In this video the short flume pipe is so you can see that it is burning and exhaust gas is clean all in the same shot.

  • very nice video im looking to make one to try and heat pool water this summer very detailed explaing in this video that was good looking forward to seeing your other videos keep up the good work thanks 5 stars for this

  • Nice heater. Sounds quiet too.

  • Man you really like to use those colanders don't you? LOL It looks like they do the job and cheap.

Maybe you can answer a question of mine. I have a double 55 gallon barrel stove. You said in this vid cast iron holds heat better than steel. So would a potbelly cast stove heat my 1000Sq ft barn better than the barrel stove? Or at least the same with less wood? The barrel stove burns a lot of wood. Just like to know your thoughts. Also I have acess to free used oil so this vid is great! Thanks!

  • I like it,..... It works well.

Have a look at my heater where I use worn out heavy Semi trailer brake drums for the outer case they are very robust, look neat and usually free from any trucking depot where they maintain their own trucks.

    Cheers,

    Spike.

    5*

  • Hello there,

I like your work very much! Simple and not complicated at all. This is a design that almost anyone could make or build. Keep up the good work!

    Regards,

    Marcel.

  • Like the use of materials. You did a great job of showing everything and how it goes together.

  • Another great video. You've inspired me to post my heater. I'm not nearly as good at the video thing as you though. I would like to see your burner after a days use. I noticed you said it won't coke up. That is the only drawback mine has, I have to clean it after 12 hours or so. I'm posting mine tonight. See what you think. Are you heating you house with one of these? I don't know where you live, but it don't look very cold there. Thanks for the videos. Rich

  • Looking forward to your video. I'm working on a multi-fuel heater to heat my house, when finished it will burn oil, pellets,or wood. It is pretty cold here in Alabama, last nite it was 17 deg. It's 36 now 2:00pm.

Thank's for your viewing and comments,

    Blake

  • Hey Blake I have 3 videos posted, I tried to post the links in a reply but failed. I guess you could just click on my name to get there. I'm not as smooth as you though. Rich

  • I love your videos man. Have you tried to make a "Babbington" burner?

    Thanks

    Dan
