Looked this video up on imdb(Internet Movie Database), didn't realize it was a '93 Movie, thought it was just recently released on TV and DVD, it was on earlier, when I was at a friends house, on Ion(spelling) TV Channel, didn't get to see it all, but like the last 30 minutes of it, and now I see how he escaped prison.

Van Damme was being ironic and said "Pink Flamingos" at the same time they were listening to a broadcast about the prisoner escape. The store guy realized Van Damme might be an escapee and Van Damme asked basically if the store guy saw anything to which he replied what he did, so as not to be killed and then Van Damme left.

This was the first Drama/action film that JVCD did. I must say it was one of the best film that he did. IN HELL comes in second compare to this movie.
