And her singing is technically as good, if not better. I'd like to see how the others sounded at the age of 8!

"All Alone Am I" is interesting because she performs it differently from many of her other songs - more full-out classic-style vocalizing, with no breaks in her voice.

Steve Allen making her laugh, by mimicking her voice, is very cute.

Rex Allen grins ear to ear. He and Red Foley never could quite believe her voice and ability to put feeling in the lyrics. From what I understand, she was always better in front of the audience than in rehearsal. Rex probably had not heard it sung quite that way until that very moment.

I met Brenda Lee after a performance in 1981. Billboard Hot 100 Charts list Brenda Lee as the most successful female artist of the 1960s, yet I found her to be just as nice and generous in person.

There are many excellent singers, but there will only ever be one Brenda Lee!
