YouTube has all kinds of special features to keep users engaged like: 'recent friend activity', subscriptions, 'recommendations based on past vids watched', Google search algorithms, etc. They're all about "creating the best experience for their users" and making connections both ways. But I'm sure you know all this...

@njolee ...what you probably don't know is that I never needed any of that stuff anyway. I just go about my day as usual. If I ever look up and see the sky is a little bluer, the sun is a bit brighter, or (after a rain) if the air is fresher and sweeter than it normally would be, I realize I could be just having a lovely day, but I don't know for sure until I boot up my Mac.

@njolee If it explodes with a puff of baby powder and glitter after the chime, that's another good indicator. But I still don't really know until I check my favorite channel ...and when I do, sure enough, there's a new video! I'm not sure how much of that is reproducible for scientific verification, but one thing I am convinced of is...Lizz is pure magic! ;)
