The new 85mm dx micro should be ok.

I have the 105mm AF-S micro, the extra distance from the subject make it easier to shoot bugs like dragonfly or butterfly.

It is about twice the price of the 85mm but it will never loose it"s value, and if later you get a FX camera you will be able to use it.(the 85mm will not cover a FX sensor)

The 105mm is the sharpest lens ever made, it may not show on a 12MP sensor but with the future 40-60MP cameras you will see the difference.
