  • i downloaded this game like 1 or 2 years ago for the Wii's VC it's definitely my favorite DK game,i haven't played many DK games just DKC,DKC3,Diddy Kong Racing and the Donkey Konga for Gamecube,i'll eventually buy the 2nd game and the original NES DK with Jumpman(Mario),i hope someday Nintendo brings DK64 i would really like to play that one.

  • 1: The funnest and most playable

2: Hard and difficult but memorable

    3: just awesome!

  • you have a fuckton of VC games, I am jealous.

I'd buy a ton too, but I doubt most of them are worth the money.

  • Out of the 300 or so I have, I'd maybe get rid of 50-60 if I could. Because I find a lot are better than the games you can buy these days and they're cheaper.

I mean I could buy anything between 3-10 VC games for the same price as a Wii disc game, and I know which would last me longer and being more enjoyable and harder.

  • @DEIVION212

yeah, I always like downloadible old games for that reason. I was born in the mid-90s (like most gamers. XD) so..games on the NES/ SNES have always interested me. Because I find it rich in gaming history, which is another reason why I like playing them, or atleast watching them on youtube.

  • You'd be surprised, even before the Wii started marketing to Grannies, the average gaming age was in the mid 30's.

  • @DEIVION212 how have you not run out of space?

  • @DEIVION212 Why don't you just use an emulator instead?

  • Because I prefer to buy my games, rather than use some dodgy online buggy emu that is basically piracy.

  • @DEIVION212 The emulators are constantly being worked on and improved, i would be very surprised if it's still buggy. Besides they tend to have things like saving, modifying the speed, recording your gameplay and much more that. But go ahead and pay overprice for something that was made 20 years ago and costs Nintendo 0 to have on VC.

  • Donkey Kong Country 3 was just a bit too ambitious for its time, I think. So many people I know either disliked it strongly or didn't think it matched up to its predecessors in terms of quality/fun/music/you name it. I think the problem was that Rare took a gamble by taking out two of everybody's favorite characters, changed Cranky to be more mean, fooled around with the world map too much.. it was just too ambitious and risky, I think. But I'm absolutely in love with this game :)

  • for me every version is the best but i think the second one was the most challenging and fun

  • Well. I just wanted to say thanks for this, 'cause I was on the edge of buying this, and your review really helped :]

  • Glad to hear it :)

  • turn off the AUTO FOCUS

  • Tried that, makes it worse because it then means that when it fucks up, it stays blurry.

  • @DEIVION212 you just gotta focus on the TV screen and then leave it.

  • Do you have my camera like? Have you recorded vids with my camera? I doubt it, because I doubt you even know what make it is.

Trust me bud, I've tried and tried and tried a bloody gain, and nothing fixes it. I will hopefully be getting a HD one in the future though, so while it won't fix the old vids, the new ones shouldn't have the same problem.

  • @DEIVION212 ... i think you're just doing something wrong.

  • Well the great thing about life is you can think what you want, it just doesn't necessarily mean that it's right.

  • @DEIVION212 there is no way once you have focused the camera that the focus can shift unless you're doing something to it, like bumping it or being a dumbass in general

  • It sits on a tripod where it doesn't move. But you do realise, that the picture moves? That's what the problem with the focus is. When the thing is zoomed in so that all it can see is a constant moving picture, then the focus goes nuts.

  • @DEIVION212 I know... Because you have it on auto focus. if you have the focus set, the focus won't move at all

  • Listen, I done arguing about this. Feel free to continue on your own, but I hate going in circles and repeating myself.

  • @DEIVION212 look i think you're a great dude. just you have no idea how to use a camera

  • whats better? this, or 2?

  • 2 is the one that gets the hype, but I think it's the worst of the 3.

    IMO I rate them 1, 3, 2.

  • like er like er like

  • Wank er wank er wanker!

  • this game brings back memories, i used to play it since i was 5 and 6.

I'm soon gonna color dkc3's cartridge shell and put the PCB of DKC3 in a container, then put it back when i'm done.

  • No one other than the 2,464 current subs can understand me (A whole 2,453 more than you), the review was a bit naff but my seuqel ones always are because there's never enough different to be said, and if my Buck Rogers memory serves me well, the next line is"What's Up Buck".

  • To me this one was the most easy donkey kong!

  • i personally like DK country 1 the best. 2 and 3 r good 2.

  • the best snes game ever!

  • for me the 3 is the best version

  • This game is so good. I have it on the GBA and this is SO tempting. I'm wondering if I should get the VC game too as I haven't played the GBA version in quite a while.

  • cool its widescreen.

  • is it possible to play it with the game cube controller, or you need the classic controller?

  • Yup and NGC pad works fine on SNES games, unless the controls are mapped out in a bad way.

  • ok man, tnx.

    by the way, what´s yup??

  • Another way of saying yes, basically :)

  • but in the beggining it says that you'll need the classic one.!?

  • I know, they all do, but trust me, if you have it plugged in before you load it, it'll work :)

  • is the first game better ?

  • IMO the first one is easily the best of the 3. But there are thousands who say that 2 is the best.

  • i'm probably the only person that says 2 is the worst.

  • Hi, you've just met another person :)

  • yay!

  • why do you think that its the worst?

is it because that is hard

i think dkc 2 had the best design of all 3 games

but other 2 also had great designs

  • no not because it was hard, in fact i think this ones harder. i hated the coin collecting, and got very repetetive somehow, and just didn't have the feeling of the other 2.

  • hmm ok

    thats your opinion

btw im going to check your channel

    your name is realy good

im a nintendo gan btw like you

so if i like your channel i subscribe 0^

  • Personally I just hated everything about it, the music, the theme, the gameplay (I really hated having 2 fast characters where the only difference was that one could glide. It made Diddy pointless), the changes, just everything.

Difficulty doesn't come into it because I'm one fo the few who's HATING Wii games because of how easy they are. I'd love to see a game with DKC 2's challenge hit.

  • wow dude i think the music is awesome

also i think that DKC3 was also awesome

btw DCK2 isnt hard when you play it on emulator,

    because you have save states

  • So what's the point in playin it then?

Yet another reason as to why I hate EMU's.

  • i realy love emulators because when you cant buy snes or nintendo 64 etc in my country you can play it over emulators

  • That wasn't the only difference.

Diddy was faster. Diddy had the underhand throw while Dixie had the overhand throw.

    The jumps are also different.

The music was breathtaking. Listen to Stickerbrush Symphony. or hell, any song really.

  • its the best

  • my game frooze at ripsaw rage

  • which of the 3 DK games do you prefer, and why, Demon212?

  • 1.

Originallity, because the Donkey and Diddy thing works better than Diddy and Dixie or Dixie and Kiddy.

I prefer the visual and music style of 1.

And I prefer the little things more as well.

2 has coin collecting in it, because you need them to save and do other things, and that just irritates me.

  • And I prefer the boss battles and the animals of the first. Also prefer the bonus levels using the animals.

  • thanks bud. think i might save my points for MUSHA incase it gets released here this week.

  • MUSHA won't hit until the next Hanabi.

    No probs :)

  • I love every single donkey kong country game. Thank you for reviewing this game Demon212.

  • No probs, glad you like it :)

  • I LUV THIS GAME d00d!

    And you sound tired.

  • Pretty sure when doing this one I had the flu.

Can't remember as it was about 6 months ago, lol.

  • cool
