Learn from Hong Kong. I'm from a shit city myself and not trying to b a smart ass but they had walking bridges already when I went there 15 years ago. The business district on Hong Kong island used pedestrian walkways ABOVE the traffic. One problem less!!!

Because you know what it's like to have to keep your eye on and anticipate the moves of drivers as they eat, shave, talk on the phone, read and text message while they drive?
