Adam's task was to prevent himself from getting killed and he did just that! He survived the game and thus he should be allowed to escape! I don't consider Amanda ''saving'' him from further suffering to be a satisfying conclusion! Speaking of Amanda, SAW III should've included the scene where Adam is hitting on her with compliments, inviting her to meet him at a rock concert and taking her photograph, and the scene where she dreams about Adam! They showed why she cared so much about him.
