Man maybe Amon Amarth like 8 yrs ago, I still think Enthrone Darkness Triumphant was one of the best black albums ever, and Emperors:IX Equilibrium Curse yea all and Blackthorns Diabolical Masquerade. But then again this was shit I was listening to almost 12-14 yrs ago. Before you could buy Inflames or Satyricon at Bestbuy. I had to wait months to get new stuff from overseas.

the haunted isnt metal, its pop. Ya i agree some of this is pretty light as far as metal goes and doesnt personally fit my taste, but it is metal. alot of it is pretty rough too. Amon Amarth I would even classify as deathmetal, Mastodon's newest album is not that heavy but check out some of their earlier stuff, like workhorse (i think there is a live version on here somewere).
im so fuckin glad to see amon amarth at the top of the list, they deserve it, the only problem w/ the album is its recorded and its not live cuz theyre amazing when it comes to live shows, saw em twice and plan to see em again when they come around
i've got the albuns in place nº1 and 3 and personally disagree with their ranks, and as SonOfGiacomo I think that "OM" should be at least in the first five of this rank, it was the album that had most impact on me till today.

Man maybe Amon Amarth like 8 yrs ago, I still think Enthrone Darkness Triumphant was one of the best black albums ever, and Emperors:IX Equilibrium Curse yea all and Blackthorns Diabolical Masquerade. But then again this was shit I was listening to almost 12-14 yrs ago. Before you could buy Inflames or Satyricon at Bestbuy. I had to wait months to get new stuff from overseas.

You haven't heard of Mastodon? Or Korpiklaani? Ihsahn, the vocalist\guitarist from Emperor? What about Maiden? Cannibal Corpse? Amon Amarth?
They all seemed a bit folk\power metal, other than Cannibal Corpse, Mastodon, Ihsahn and Iron Maiden.

that sucked, most of those bands are cheesy pussy rock bands. The Haunted's The Dead Eye is the best metal album of 2006.

the haunted isnt metal, its pop. Ya i agree some of this is pretty light as far as metal goes and doesnt personally fit my taste, but it is metal. alot of it is pretty rough too. Amon Amarth I would even classify as deathmetal, Mastodon's newest album is not that heavy but check out some of their earlier stuff, like workhorse (i think there is a live version on here somewere).

i've got the albuns in place nº1 and 3 and personally disagree with their ranks, and as SonOfGiacomo I think that "OM" should be at least in the first five of this rank, it was the album that had most impact on me till today.
