This is a classic Apartments song, very indicative of there "sound". Peter Milton Walsh is a woefully underrated song writer, unlike his contemporaries, Nick Cave, Grant McLennan, & Robert Forster come to mind..has been given little to no recognition. The fact that little over 7000 people have watched this video is testament to that.

I first heard The Apartments on the Some Kind of Wonderful soundtrack in 1987; I've loved them ever since.
