Throughout shattered union you are given free rain as to how to run your faction...you are not forced into subverting the population as he would like to think though it is an option it also has consequences one of which is extreme civil unrest in your own state as a result of your actions.
The overwhelming problem I see with most arguements on both sides regardless of political persuasion is there refusel to acknowledge both sides of video games being interactive. They claim that because it is interactive it abnormally affects children in ways television or reading cannot. What they do not acknowledge are in game consequences and freedom of choice.

I own Battlefield 2: Special Forces and in the instruction manual on page 6 it sais "With authentic Special Forces firearms, a full arsenal of technologically advanced gadgets, and night-fighting stealth tactics, the covert armies give you even more weapons in your fight for the new world order". That is the most brasin endorsment for the NWO that i have seen in a game. But i got to admit, Battlefield 2: Special Forces OWNS!
I have played the game, and know what it is about. Alex Jones obviously hasn't played it. I have played it, and I will say right now that Alex Jones is making faulty assumptions. The game doesn't advocate the New World Order. It advocates the reuniting to the United States. That is the goal of the game. The goal is to make Texas, California, and every other faction unite again to rebuild the United States, not the New World Order.

I just bought this game a few days ago. It's great fun; If you are a fan of low-complexity wargames, I recomendit.
As for Alex Jones, he would have a lot more credibility if he got Shattered Union's plot and story straight.
For the record: You are fighting AGAINST the EU and Russians with the goal of re-uniting th Union. If anything, the game is anti-New World Order.
