The PS3 Version Has Motion Blur As Well, (Atleast In The Ballad Of Gay Tony While In Parachute) And When You Go In A Certain Speed You See EveryThing In Motion Blur Except Your Car, You Dont See The MotionBlur While On Foot And Rotating The Cam Becouse While On A PC, Its Easyer To Move The Cam At A Certain Speed.

I just downloaded a sweet mod for GTA IV where you press "F9" ingame and it changes the weather, it is able to change to every kind (rain, fog, sun, clouds etc) and you can scroll through them for best fps, ofc sunny and fog work the best for fps

fog reduces visual distance details which really helps

You'll never run it without lag on that computer, sorry to have to break it to you. If it makes you feel better I run the game at an average of about 15 fps, so you're probably getting better framerates than I do atleast.

Motion blur is fine but it makes the cars look like they're floating and it's just too blurry for me in general

Actually Motion blue on pc is the same as "Definition" on graphic settings i think if u turn definition of u also get motion blur

Exactly. The thing is that the first PC version of GTA IV didn't have "Definition" to select. So the only way to enable it was with the P key

I'd vote for the CONSOLE version, no doubt. PC version sucks ass. So bad optimized that even in some cases the performance may vary regardless of the specs of a PC.

Not so, quad-core scales very well. The Euphoria physics engine as well as other AI going on eat CPU resources very badly. Patch 1.0.3.0 optimizes the game. You usually get a 10 FPS increase, there are also more graphics options to further tweak the game.

Those are the equivalent settings to the console. Not to much to complain about there. So even relatively low settings will get you to the console quality.

I guess 30+ FPS could be considered normal or smooth gameplay. You should pay in 960x600 or 1024x768. Shadows in 0, everything else on 10 or 20

Esa tarjeta es mucho mejor que la mia, el numero de MB quedo en el pasado, ahora importa la velocidad del clock, que sea DDR3, etc. Todo eso lo tiene tu tarjeta. Asi que creo que GTA IV no sera problema

At least I don't see Niko getting involved in the motion blur, which is good cause he is located in a middle point, the center, like in real life, a middle point doesn't have effect in movement but everything else does..........................­..............................­...........I guess
