People who own parrots are just STUPID? Why would anyone want a loud, stinking, obnoxious bird hanging around? If is saw one on my property I would have batting practice with ass.
@nicollettePerfect He's not that great in real life. what he usually does is he'll fly all day then comes back before dark. I just got lucky with the camera....and he hates all my other birds.
How did I get him to trust me: handfed him, raised him as a single bird for a bit.
can budgies do the same: YES! Budgies in my opinion, are better than lovebirds when it comes to free flying. They are the ones who actually WANTS to come back. Lovebirds are a bit adventurous.
@nicollettePerfect Yes they are but not all of them. It`s a kind of special training they need. If they "get air under their wings" they fly and fly and flay away...
lol, I highly doubt it's blood, probably berries they are using for treats or a snack the bird had. That's exactly what my babies mouth looks like after she dives into berries!

@remon2727 that wouldn't be hilarious...my best friend lost his parrot because a hawk killed it, and that's not cool.

How do you train them to free flight? I'm getting a baby B&G macaw in 7-8 months. :)
