I agree. I felt sad for that boy that the witch was dragging him to eat him. However, I thought maybe he could have pulled his arm away from her since she is a senior citizen witch on a cane where maybe she doesn't have too much strength as a senior citizen witch.
Also, I felt sad for Hansel from 0:12-0:30 as the witch was dragging him to the cage. I especially felt sad that he probably felt that he was out of heaven since before him and Gretel fell asleep in the bed, Hansel told Gretel that he imagines that the witches home feels like they're in heaven.

Kids pick on anything thats smaller then them like animals or other kids, so I think picking on kids is OK. Actually no, at the end as soon as the witch was pushed into the oven and died and turned into a gingerbread, all the kids turned back from gingerbread cookies back to human kids, and some of the kids were girls. So I'm sure the witch has eaten both boys and girls.

No, it's not a stupid question. It's a very good question (I wondered the same thing when I was very young). Maybe the kids tried eating their way out of the cage (including Hansel) but, the cage door and that side of the house where the cage was, was not made of food or, the cage door and that side of the house was stale and extremely hard food where none of the kids, (including Hansel) couldn't eat their way out of the cage.

Another reason why they didn't run away is because from 6:45-6:51 the witch said to Gretel that there is no one around to get help from while the witch was pointing a knife to her. Also, with the witch pointing the knife to her, she was saying to Gretel, "if you or Hansel escape or try to escape, I will chase you and kill you with this knife." I guess with the witch pointing the knife to Gretel, it probably scared her which is why she and Hansel didn't try to escape.

No, it's not a stupid question. It's a very good question (I wondered the same thing when I was very young). Maybe the kids tried eating their way out of the cage (including Hansel) but, the cage door and that side of the house where the cage was, was not made of food or, the cage door and that side of the house was stale and extremely hard food where none of the kids, (including Hansel) couldn't eat their way out of the cage.

Dude, she's like a million years old! lol. No way she can run faster than a kid. But I think the reason niether of them tried to run, is because they knew their brother/sister would be left behind.

Another reason why they didn't run away is because from 6:45-6:51 the witch said to Gretel that there is no one around to get help from while the witch was pointing a knife to her. Also, with the witch pointing the knife to her, she was saying to Gretel, "if you or Hansel escape or try to escape, I will chase you and kill you with this knife." I guess with the witch pointing the knife to Gretel, it probably scared her which is why she and Hansel didn't try to escape.

LMFAO oh man this must have warped the mines of so many little kids. The moral of the story being if you talk to strangers kids they'll EAT YOU! Lucky I was always a lot older then my real age and saw through this stuff for what it is and that's FUCKING KOOKY!
