AAA and WWF had an agreement to work together starting in January 1997. AAA sent guys to wrestle in the Royal Rumble and thought they were getting Bret Hart, Goldust, Shawn Michaels and other big stars in exchange. Instead Vince sent over the Fake Diesel, fake Razor and Jake Roberts. Three guys who he didn't need any more. In the summer of 1997 the WWF created Kane and AAA guys stopped coming over so the agreement was over.
