  • no, i don´t think Spinoza is an einstenian relativist. Einstein receives the Spinoza´s idea of God from german idealism, Schelling, and son on, and they thought he was pantheist but there´s no pantheism in Spinoza. the problem of general relativity in Einstein, a mere analogist theory, is his ambition of a kind of teodicea, that´d be the pantheism or GR. but Spinoza is not pantheist, there´s no analogy in his theory. there´s no separation between God and Nature, so no analogy to join them.

  • Did Einstein prove Spinoza through his theory of relativity? Is this not the answer to religious fundamentalism?

  • Wonder what Professor Nadler thinks of Spinoza versus Kant.

  • There is some discussion of how Spinoza and Kant related to each other here
