They do slide, just like any other trucks. It's pretty good and the velvet makes me not want to slide them trucks. But they slide pretty good!

Btw, few days after i recorded this, I changed my grip. I was fed up with it and changed it with a Reflex grip. a few bucks cheaper than the mob grip but it does good work.
