I actually think that MercyMe did a way better job then U2. They sound better and the vocals are better. Just saying.

While this was a good cover, don't get me wrong, I'm religious myself, (church every Sunday, but with a very open mind about what God exactly is, etc), but I don't like the idea of these guys twisting Bono's lyrics about a literal street in Ireland with no name to fit a religious agenda, because religion is a personal choice, that should not be forced upon people like people have been trying to do lately.

@Justice4AllOne Amen, I am not very religious at all. not a churchgoer anymore, but i found their Xmas songs in 201. Nice stuff. When I saw a link to them covering U2 I thought "Give it a whirl." After that hogwash, I won't justify it with a watch

Yea, it was. Not as good as the real thing, though. I've never been a fan of people telling the audience to scream or put their hands in the air. Basically that's just admitting the audience isn't into what your doing in the first place.
