@mkambas I'm not sure, as I haven't heard of anyone trying it that way, bu you know what? It sounds like a good idea to me! If you have some control over the speed of your food processor, then even better -- go slow at first and see that happens :)
@mkambas If lots of garlic needs peeling, placing cloves in a steel bowl with another steel bowl as a lid, and shaking vigorously will peel the cloves.
@fernandoquartin I have cooked garlic cloves in olive oil and then jarred them in oil and put them in the fridge. How long do you think they're edible for?
the fastest way to peel garlic is to put it on a table and squeeze it with the blade of a knife or your palm. thats it. peel goes off automatically. and it doesn't need electrical power.
@MillyVanillification This wasn't called "the fastest way to peel garlic"...It's simply showing how to do it with a thermomix so it demonstrates the different things you can do!
How about reading the title next time before trying to sound smart?

Alternatively you can just put the whole clove in a garlic crusher, and whammo, no skin - just lovely crushed garlic. and that takes 1 second.

wow! never seen this method before.
yeah, a knife is nice if you only need one clove peeled.
but try peeling many that way! :-) too much clean up.
i wonder if i can do that in my food processor using the soft dough blade. the use of water in the bowl means practically no clean up afterwards!
thx for sharing

it takes longer to watch the video!

The video says "store it (the garlic) in a jar with oil for later use". Botulinus intoxication kills.

@fernandoquartin Yup, you are so right. Use it later that week maybe?
