She is awful. She should have never made it as far as she did. And she certainly should have never made it farther than Casey. Autotune really does do wonders for her though...definately sounds much better than anything she did on the show. She needs to stop with that growling, trying wayyyyyyy to hard to try and sound like Janis Joplin...EPIC FAIL.

@MAndre2414 I agree I think everyone is entitled to and opinion..in mine yours is wrong. I believe that the closest thing we have to Joplin these days is Crystal Bowersox. Haley sings with no emotion...its too cold. Thats part of what made Janis so amazing...the amount of soul and emotion she put into everything. I think that if Haley would actually take critisism and work with a vocal coach she could be really good. But her ego is to big...she thinks she is amazing and doesn't try to improve.

I think you should reserve ur thoughts about Haley until she comes out with original material.

She doesn't take critisism. Everytime the judges said something "bad' about her she would roll her eyes and do the exact opposite of what they said. I guess we will see if she has made improvement if she puts out an album..but I'm gonna guess no...

@JandD223 Well for one thing, you kinda rock, especially if you've only been singing for 2 weeks. But you growled the note you're referring to. What impresses me in this recording is the way Haley can hit the note without using a growl to mask it, without resorting to head voice or dulling the note's power or clarity in any way. It's not -too- difficult to hit the A... which is actually an a flat, curse my failing sense of pitch... but hitting it like that makes it ten times more incredible imo
