This collection is the first haute couture collection that made me tear up. Fashion is just a big impact on the world around us and by far this is the most beautiful and most magical colleciton I have seen when it came out in 2009. John Galliano has done an great job and the house of Dior wouldn't be as great without him. Although I have faith but you can't help but to say AMAZING !

i like his designs and all but he is quite overrated some of his shows are way over dramatic and over the top. look at New Haute Couture collection from Georges Chakra for Autumn/Winter 2009/10

It reminds me very much of the initial range Galliano did in the early nineties when he went for the Dior job(which Ferre actually got), what with all the 'new look' lines, and yes notice all the 50's posturing! Mix that with some killer 80's inspired Ungaro evening dresses, the only 80's Galliano seems to go near(bar the Soiuuxsie and the Banshees inspired look)

Entiendo tu comentario, pero cabe resaltar que John no esta mostrando lo mismo cada temporada, el reinventa una y otra vez la imagen original de la casa Dior, reinventa el estilo de monsieur Christian Dior y esta coleccion es el claro ejemplo.

el usa los colores con los que trabajaba la casa desde sus inicios, mmm no quiero ofender a nadie pero hay que tener un minimo de conocimiento de la historia, John es tan buen artista que reinterpreta la historia a su modo y es tan bueno su trabajo que pareciera mas de lo mismo pues evoca tan bien el pasado.
