I got a question.. since they're printing money, why don't they just pay off people's mortgages with that trillion dollars or so instead of funding more wall street crimes? That way the banks would get their principal back people would then own their houses and could get back to work? If some banks fold because of their greed in leveraging and speculating on the mortgages, who gives a damn that's what the FDIC is for, to step in when banks that don't have any assets go belly up.
