  • oh fantastic, i love it, how did i miss this one ,god you are both wonderful, fun great, wish i was there to sit and listen, clap, yell, wonderful, love to you both, ladykashmir

  • @pussygalore1965 ...you'd like Dave.He's an exceptionally nice man.

  • We've all been there. Things just get better and the passion for real music never dies. Good to see.

  • @freakbeatno1 ...message me separately if you want me to pass a message to Dave

  • Difficult to remember after 40 years! I attempted bass (still playing) with Stuart (Ant) on vocals. Best part of school days!

  • @freakbeatno1 ....Aah! A Marylebone old boy. Were you at the school dance where we all made desperate fools of ourselves?

  • In 1971 Dave had a red 335 and Marshall 50 watt combo. He played like a dream. Still does. In those days he could already play almost everything- Clapton, Gallagher and Hendrix. A talented and self- effacing man

  • @freakbeatno1 ...I know he had a 335 out of the shop at one time around '74 but you might be thinking of his Hofner Verithin....You're right. He's a top man.

  • Nice playin' Dave....thanks Paul!

  • Thanks ever so.

  • COOOOOOL guys great to see you having fun 5*****

    Claude

  • Thanks very much.

  • Cool guy, great guitar player. Would love to hear him play nylons. Tried to locate some of his music with no avail but did read his Carty interview. Very humble and quite funny, your friend.

  • Thanks Donn..he'd be flattered and bemused.Lol

  • Superb stuff - but I still your music too!! Was Dave going in to the Champ on this? And is that an MXR compressor on top?

Am tempted to get one that amp - sounds so good.

Love the Ramsey Lewis stuff, by the way.

Best wishes and thanks as always for some effortless groovy, sexy playing.

    John

  • Thanks very much....Yup! Light compression into the Champ..

  • fantastic!!! Mr. Pash is some player (you as well) 5*****

    Kurt...

  • Thank you very much Kurt.

  • Spicy curry

  • ...and a couple of beers.

  • Paul,

You're buddy Dave plays great !

Both of you are amazing musicians !

It's not that one is better than the other.

You both have different playing styles.

    Stu

  • Thanks Stu...We both do things that the other can't.

  • Sounds Great!... Nice Playin Dave!!!

  • Thanks Carl...I'll pass it on.

  • Brilliant playing by your friend Mr Pash but you are to hard on your self in your text. He is no reason for you not to have tried harder and practiced more." Keep shaking them beans" the man said to me!! So how far am I behind - lightyears!.

We would be lost without your music and dont forget there have been plenty of hits by none musicians, take the Monkees for example. There is definately a place for Fendermac and his blues.

  • Thanks Gerry...I guess what I meant was that very early on I gravitated towards Paul Kossoff rather than John McLaughlin.I kinda like where I am really.

  • I like wher your at as well mate

  • Yeah... Great one!! :-)

  • Thanks Sarah..You should hear him on nylon strings.

  • Thanks for sharing this awesome guitar player with us, Paul! Mister Pash!!! Mister Pash!!! :o)

  • You should hear him on a guitar that he didn't just pick up 5 minutes before.

  • Nice to see some of your Vid Tag history incarnate!

Awesome walking bass rendition of All the Things...

Is "over for a curry" Britspeak for something or is it to be a literal explanation? : ) ~Terry

  • The curry was very real and very tasty. He's a vegetarian so Indian food is a good choice for him.He really is a great player and a great friend.
