Ah, I'm not one to agree with indoor cats I'm afraid. However, I find it perfectly understandable when you have your cats safety in mind. I know a lot of people keep them indoors to protect them from cars and wild animals. At least you let your kitty outside to play, but, I just personally couldn't keep my pet cat indoors. Still, a cute video. :)

some cats can't go outside because, of other cats attacking them, and some cats can pass Feline AIDs to your cat/s we had that happen and 2 of our cats had to be put down becuase of it it was sad.

i'm not really sure, my cat does it, she'll claw my arm my pillow, everything, i think it comforts them, and i think up to a point, if they scratch the right things it's to sharpen there claws, but i do think they just like it......when i bought my cat a cat nip pillow, she clawed that...as i said, i think they just like the feel of it.

I think it's to leave their scent. I think they have glands on their paws and when they scratch, it leaves their own mark. It also keeps their claws just dull enough so they won't get caught on things like a carpet, couch, ect. My cat always got caught on the carpet before she started clawing things. Hope this helps. :]

Stop worrying... this happened months ago, and the cat got down safely. The leash got stuck halfway down, so I climbed the tree, removed her from the leash, and put her back inside. When I picked her up, she was purring. She had a lot of fun.

Cute, but not really the smartest thing to her on a lead if you're not gound to hold it, because something could spook her and cause her to dash off and leave for a day, a week or two, and she could end up getting tangled and trapped somewhere and be unable to return home. A little common sense...

no, if you do it very carefully and dont clip them too short. It is certainly better than declawing which is an amputation. The recovery from declawing is long and painful.

I don't know... she's probably just a domestic shorthair, but there are these cats called "Turkish water cats" and they are usually white with orange patches like Gracie. Look them up on Google or even YouTube to see what they look like.

All my cats are indoor/outdoor cats. They are almost always outside and occasionally come in. But the only reason is because there are no predators where I live or cars nearby. Its nice that your keeping her safe and that you do let her out sometimes...
