  • wow thats a beautiful les paul, but to be honest i just go to your videos to look at the guitar they all sound the same at this point

  • cmon, just tell me where do you live... i cant steal them all you know.. !! ;-)

  • ur lying! or are u?

  • the bear makes the TONE!! No, it's Greg ;)

  • How many guitars do u have!!!???

  • @MrBeatlesfreak72

    24688

  • @GregsGuitars whoa

  • @GregsGuitars O.O

  • @GregsGuitars Do you own every one of them personaly or do you buy them to sell them and make a profit?

  • you have good taste in guitars, i would buy one of those if i had the money.

  • just wanted to state that this wouldn't my choice of sound but a rather good video :)

  • Any double necks ? I would love to see them :D

  • guitar is music ! and Greg is an excellent musician...depuis que je l'entend je ne joue plus pareil...il a changé "my practice"...c'est un réel plaisir de l'entendre ! "ça fait du bien"

  • BTW...Who´s manipulating the camera? (and what camera do you use?)

  • that slide at 2:04 is sooo syrupy----love

  • Every guitar lover, and guitar player for that matter - regardless of talent or ability - should subscribe to this channel. Every time I watch a posted video, I'm inspired to play.

  • @74blades

same here... play and see those wonders

  • Like every other video of yours sounds great ! I wish you would list the kind of pickups in each of these guitars I am trying to find just the right pickups for my guitars and i am new to playing guitar

  • A nice sounding guitar sounds good only when a good musician is playing it :)

  • wow man that guitar tone is awesome sounds like peter green

  • a bit old looking-slap some paint on it a new knobs/pickups you're laughing

  • that is a juicy sounding guitar

  • JUICE

  • Wieder einmalig gespielt.

  • wow good feeling, Like it....

  • And Gibson seem to be a champion in making inconsistent necks (incl. on CS reissues). I have a Hamer Monaco Elite which has neck pretty close to a 59 IMO. They must have made this on purpose.

  • Wow. Sounds great!!!

  • G'day Greg, awesome playing and amazing guitar. You've just answered a question which has eluded me for some time. The neck profiles on the 59 Reissues are bigger than the neck profiles on the genuine 59 Les Paul! Would this statement be true? Also, could you please describe what a genuine 59 neck profile is like relating this to 59Ri and 60Ri. Any information would be much appreciated. I don't have access to a Peter Green unfortunately. Cheers. Joe

  • klasse Gitarre.

  • You are playing extremly harmonic. I like it

But can you tell me , where you get the pattern on tape durms , bass and s.o.

I like your playing , your guitars in style an colours ,

Because the colours of the guitars is also important as the buliding an the sound.

  • do you still have a real 1959 les paul?

  • 11-49, like a bawz, we got da same gauge :-)

  • Greg, why do you always have in-ear?

I mean, you're not on stage - you're by yourself in your livingroom - I bet you can hear yourself just fine :-)

  • @MichaelGaard it's so that he can field calls from his international client base while filming the demos....yes, you can buy these guitars "in real time"!

  • @filtecuk HAHA! I KNEW it!!! :-)

  • @MichaelGaard It's for his backing track/recording of audio.

  • very nice looking guitar.

  • wicked tone . nice guitar .. swell . hmmm...

  • that tone makes me jizz

  • Sweet tone...

  • BOOORRRRING

  • @melonheed3 it may not be you kind of music but he is showcasing the guitars quality

  • @melonheed3 Nobody wants to hear your peanut gallery comments.. We wanna hear you put down your example of whats exciting..I mean YOU PLAYIN, PUTTING IT DOWN. Till then your opinion IS DRIVIL.

  • sounds a little bit like crosscut saw of albert king..... people, if you haven´t heard that wonder, search it. The solo is amazing. SRV, Page, clapton have made covers of the licks of that solo

  • Comment removed

  • some where in the $250 dollar range very cheap just for you " buddy can you afford it ?

  • I would love to hear you do a Peter Green/Gary Moore Song in Full, that would be Sweet!...

  • @mkilner

in fact, there is a vid of greg playing albatros.... is a std les paul, played through his dumble OD special. Thax Greg, You have been a huge inspiration. Thanks to your channel I´ve known hundreds of guitars and things I didn´t knew before... like teh difference between a silver and a blackface fender or the dumble amp... You have an incredible classy style of play... leaving behind the quality of your guits and amps. and that axe is a beauty

  • nice...real nice... :O)

  • Man really nice, pure Gary's sound

  • I agree that a "fake-aged" look is dare I say...g*y. On my YouTube page, watch Jordan Cook "Neighbors." THAT'S how you wear in a guitar!

  • Nice man!!!

  • Ich finde die Gitarre auch toll! Dummschwätzer wird es immer geben! Viel Spaß damit!

  • @supermastermind1983

I can understand that some people like the aged look. But I can't understand that they are paying some retard to beat up a beautiful guitar!?!

If you look at the UGLY scratches between V pot and stoptail, you will see they are going UNDER the stoptail! This can't be from normal wear! So if you do it, do it wright and not like a moron...

And I think Greg is a smart SALESMAN by telling you this is the one he will keep.

This makes some guys even want it more...

  • Greg has me completely convinced that the gear makes no difference, that it is ALL in the talent.

    Damn.

  • @eyesonmedia I do agree on the fact that gear is not making the difference, but how did you come to that conclusion after watching greg playing on a Gibson Custom Shop paired with a 200$ overdrive pedal?

  • @carlmagnus9 Its an opinion formed after listening to him - and many others - play all manner of guitars. A skilled player makes junk sound great. I, on the other hand, make great sound like junk. All in the hands. :)

  • @eyesonmedia I understand, I just found it ironic that you posted the comment on this video ;) No, don't say that, Im sure you sound great! =)

  • @eyesonmedia I guess if you heard him play trough different amps, I think there would be more difference :P

  • @eyesonmedia Good Guy Greg

  • @eyesonmedia I agree to some extent, but i do believe some of it lies in what guitar, and if you have any pedals. and that Okko Diablo pedal is just a tad too obtrusive IMO, if you know what i mean ;)

  • @eyesonmedia

Thats pretty easy to say when he's playing a $12,000 guitar and an original 63 Fender amp :D I still agree with you to a point, I bet greg could make a Fender Squire sound good.

  • awesome

  • @GregsGuitars sounds amazing! how are you recording your guitar and yourself playing? thanks

  • @wankerpuss thanks! All recording infos on my YouTube startpage

  • that truly is stunning!

  • This is so beautiful, you're the luckiest person in the world to be able to play these Les Pauls. I would kill for this one!

  • Man, the Peter green guitar (kinda) That is sooooo cool.

  • I have one too mind serial no.17 what serial no. of this guitar?

  • Sweet. Thanx!

  • Gregor, your playing is amazing understated but speaks volumes which is a rarity on youtube and I love it! I'm still in disbelief about Gary Moore, he really knew how inject emotion in his playing and his tone was incredible. Thanks for the videos.

  • green did change the neck pup the other way round... but that was an accident and probs did little tone wise...

  • Hi Greg! did you play the gibson les paul studio tribute '60 ?

  • I don´t know what the hell it has the greeny les paul.... but is my personal favourite guitar. My favs are les pauls, and among them, my favorite is the peter green. I don´t know what it is, but is magical, haunting... and this and amazing copy. The luthiers of the custom shop are magicians

  • Nice bit of jazz at 0:41 - Jon Scofield would be proud ;-)

  • @lonegroover

Hey, what a co-ink-ee-dinks, I'm probably going to see J-Sco in a couple of days!

  • That's the sweetest Les Paul I have ever heard.

    I can see why it's a keeper.

Back in the 60s I was playing bass in the "house band" at a weekly blues club in the Black Country,England. Each week we would try and book a guest artist/band and one week it was Fleetwood Mac.They had just recorded their first album but it was not yet released. From memory Peter Green was playing "that"guitar. We all agreed he was "better than Clapton".Guess how much their total fee was. £40GBP. Yes forty pounds!True.

  • Sounds like Snowy White – cool and jazzy.

  • Wow! Wow!

  • Hi Greg... really loved your playing phrasing tone is just beautiful I have a feeling you could make a plank sound good but yeh what a dream LP especially with its association to Gary Moore and Peter Green all the best from Oz and congradulations on finding your #1 craig

  • rock steady?

  • @GregsGuitars Ok, so it is a Gary Moore signature that belonged to Peter Green, thats awesome

  • Gets my vote, nice playing to. Just bought a LP Traditional Pro. Nice playing guitar, still working with the burstbucker in the bridge position, the 57 in the neck is as sweet as sugar though. As nice as it is, it still does not play like my 77 Custom LP, love the ebony boards, wish you could order a standard with ebony.(maybe you can) anybody know?

  • @kutsbothways If you wanted an ebony fretboard Standard, you would have to contact Gibson Custom Shop for them to make you a One-of-a-kind guitar.

  • On this type of guitar you need to grind....out some Zepp or James Gang to get the full affect of this beauty of a guitar....regardless of amp. I know you can do it my man. CHEERS!!!

  • great playing....BUT !!! ..... LOOK AT HOW THE FLAME CHANGES, IT GOES FROM A LIGHT CHERRY BURST TO LOOKING LIKE A GOLD TOP TO SHOWING NO FLAME TO BEING FLAMED TO DEATH !!!! they don't all do that, if they did I would have one, LOL

  • Greg, nice you fond THE ONE, for most of us that beauty is out of reach but in your experience what comes close to that beauty that we could actually afford?

  • great guitar, and you defenetly deserve it!

  • Gary Moore signature?

  • how much did that cost?

  • soul!!!

  • nice man

  • SWEET BRO!!! I ove love love the way you play!

  • SWEET BRO!!!

  • glückwunsch!

  • Neck spot sounds very nice on this one. I guess you are a fan of the Burstbucker II and III combination.

  • Thank you.:) xx

  • Thank you.:) xx

  • Mister Greg!! This guy changed my playing... Thanks for the tone, the licks, everything!

  • Great sounding guitar and gear and brilliant playing. Thanks.

  • Wow! I so want one. Sounds fantastic! resonant

  • that sounds incredible

  • Beautiful axe and playing mate!

  • probably the best guitar I ever heard!!

great job on the demo greg

  • nice
