Plz refer to history like Malacca Sultante, Kedah Tua, Johore Sultante (Malaysia) Palembang, Acheh, Riau, (Indonesia), Langkasuka and Patani (Thailand), Temasik (Singapore), Brunei Sultante, Sulu Sultante (Philippines). All of that is Malay Muslim Goverment

There are a lot of unique and beautiful traditional costume from these state such as Kadazan outfit,Bidayuh Outfit, Iban Outfit.. those are nice traditional costume that can be worn.

A few years ago I've watch Miss Malaysia wearing orang ulu outfit from Sarawak but its not full costume. if you want it to look nice,wear the full costume.

or y not trying Kebaya Nyonya with some non heavy head gear.. must be look beautiful..

honestly, i think one of the possible reason miss malaysia never won the best national custome becoz every year the judges will see the same national custome. Why not wear other races custome such as from the sabah and sarawak people customes?

This 2008 Miss Malaysia Universe presents her traditional costume incredibly well. The parading is well done. A big round of applause for making Malaysia proud and although she didn't get any placing in the international competition is because Miss Universe is run by the Americans unlike Miss World by the British.
