Be careful about Dobson. With what I've read recently about him, I just don't trust him anymore. And I've sent money to FOTF. As for McCain, I think you need to give him a chance as well. Remember that the President is the Commander in Chief...he cannot recommend legislation, only sign off on it, or veto it. Congress is what really needs to be changed. As for the criteria not meaning much to me, well, we can agree to disagree and I will support whom I choose to support.

FOTF has fired people who have been divorced while working for them, including Gil Alexander, Dobson's first announcer. While Mr. Alexander has had other problems since then, in the interim, Dobson's own son has been divorced. This seems somewhat hypocritical to me. I was on Dobson's mailing list from 1999-2007 and previously supported his ministry. I will no longer do so.

Mike, all employees sign a pledge when they get hired or even intern there. One of the conditions that they agree to leave because of is divorce. The intention being that if they are going to hold leadership positions in a Christian ministry, they will employ those practices. If Dobson's son wanted to join the FOTF team, he would not be able to, that's consistency and holding people to moral standard. There is absolutely nothing hypocritical about any of that.
