This could have been so much better if the rappers actually rapped like they do in the songs of their own. In this they just talk normally and it doesn't connect properly with Tulisa's part. Also I think Miss Dynamite, Mz. Brat, Wretch 32 and Dot Rotten shouldn't have been there as they just weren't good enough, Tinie Tempah should have definitely been in the mix!

As someone who believes in causes such as Children In Need & is a huge fan of the Massive Attack original, i think this is awful. Granted, had it of been an original song, it might be passable, but as it takes it's melody & chorus from a superior track, waters down the strength of it & adds random sentences from the Guinness Book Of Cliches, i cant call this good. A good cause, definitely. A good song, no. The fact that it charted at No.24 today, on the weekend of Children In Need, says it all.

I'm glad they didn't let the rappers rap and get bogged down in their own verses and messages. Having them speak a set lyric kept the song on point and coherent, and made it a lot more powerful than just having them rap their own same tired flows and cliches. They sampled a great song, as opposed to a shit one, and made something different with it. I liked the gospel-ish vibe towards the end and Labrinth's harmony was inspired. Far better than most of this lot's usual product.

Sweet jesus this is a horrific butchering of a beautiful piece of music. I know it's for a good cause and all but COME ON. Not only does it make me not want to support Children In Need, it makes me want to put Gary Barlow in a Pudsey suit and fill it with scorpions.
Shame they don't give any recognition to Massive Attack the original artists in the description. However although musically it isn't as good. They message is in the lyrics and not instrumental sections so the lyrics is what people should be concentrating on. All in all a good effort for children in need.

They sampled a great song, as opposed to a shit one, and made something different with it. I liked the gospel-ish vibe towards the end and Labrinth's harmony was inspired. Far better than most of this lot's usual product.

Okay, Firstly, i know full well i'n going to get hate for this but this song may be for a good cause but it is terrible.
What is the point in getting amazing singers (e.g Ed Sheeran, Ms Dynamite) and getting them to talk? Also this is not making me want to donate nothing, I have but that's just coz i want to.

Shame they don't give any recognition to Massive Attack the original artists in the description. However although musically it isn't as good. They message is in the lyrics and not instrumental sections so the lyrics is what people should be concentrating on. All in all a good effort for children in need.

I'm sorry but I don't agree with all the negative comments. This song is for charity. The words if you watch and listen carefully are so appropriate for the cause. In response to @AlexGrantuk these artists are not the only ones to cover a track for charity!
