  • O people of this generation !!!

Please do smthing to bring back the old "golden period" of bhojpuri music.

    please do something...

  • Yes reminds me of Patna...great nostalgia

  • Wah...bring backs old memory and good times of Patna musical life. I knew Chtraguptaji and sang for him as well. Wah

  • many thanks!!!

  • Mr. rafi i want to know about a film Ganga which is released in 1964.Sujeet kumar akumkum and anwar hussain was in lead role.beautifull song in this fbhojpuri film. Can u load the entire song of this film.

    Thanks

  • Kumkum has been expired. Her grave is in any place in Varanasi. She belonged to the Nawab family of Patna city,Perhaps nawab market belongs to her relatives in Patna.

  • DIL KE CHHU LEBE WALA GANA

  • Really great. I got real pleasure.. I mean this song toched my heart. I like this song as it is probably the best song of Bhojpuri films. The male voice given by great Talat Mehmood known for silky voice. All bhojpuri people should appreciate standard songs and avoid vulnerable songs of new era. RB CHAUDHARY, SITAMARHI, BIHAR.

  • Gorgeous tune! And scattered all around is that Kum Kum style, grace and smiles..plus our Lata melody!

  • I have been looking this beautiful song from so many years.

    Thanks

  • sweet gift from chitragupt a melody man.

  • Dear Rafi, thanks for loading nice video. I had it on my audio cassette for a long time. You are fantastic person with good taste ! I like Chitragupta. His songs were melodious. The title song by Lata and Usha is also good. Can you load the complete song.? I am Kumkum fan too, where is she now ?

  • @SuperVasant . Vasant, fantastic are your comments. Thanks.I also like Chitragupta. Grew up listening " Chal Ud Ja re Panchi, Khush Raho Ahele Chaman, " and many more of his renditions. Kumkum may be in Dubai ??? Make it a great day, MR

  • The background looks like Maner some miles outside Patna, a very popular picnic spot of the late 1960s !The Laddoos of Maner and Silao ka Khaja Haunt us here in the US.We bought Rajgriha Laddoos. They were made of Khobi and Jaggery My American grand daughter loved it !Please do not let theses things die .

Incidently she loves this song, and keeps saying,"Again"

Was there any Bihari who objected to the film "Ashoka" not mentioning Patna even once? When will we wake up ??

  • great song..can u find the song"hum ta jab jab chali dagariya logwa najar lagawela" by lataji..and featuring helen....i tried a lot but couldnt..thnx

  • OMG!!

Kind of lost treasure to me!

    Just beautiful..

Lata can sing like real bhojpuri girl.

Talat has his own way to sing and he did the best as well..

    thanks for sharing.

  • honey song from chitragupta.

  • These days we listen to lot of musical competitions. In that context, I realised that Talat's voice lacks the jubilant tone, which Lata has.

I guess, Talat's voice is more suited for sad songs than a cheerful songs like this.

Please excuse me, if I have offended somebody's feelings, but I guess, everybody is free to express himself in the age of internet.

  • Arre bhai, you are better than Santa Claus! Kal hi aap ko request kiya aur aaj ye melodious duet idhar aa bhi gaya!!! Thanks a million for this Talat+Lata+Chitragupt combo gem!

  • OMG,,good old days of sweet bihari music,Beautiful..Please upload more bihari song of that golden era.BTW,i am not bihari but do understand bhojpuri.

    Thanks4post.

  • Very beautiful and simple duet. You just have adore it, if you are Talat's fan. BTW my name was given to me, inspired by him, and his silky soft and soul touching voice. King of Gazal Talat Mehmood. My parents just loved and adored his singing so, they decieded to name me after him., since I was the first born in the family. I love singing too, but not like Talat, of course. MR, thanks for sharing this gem.

  • Bhojpuri dialect never sounded so sweet. I expected Lataji to do well in it, for she did well in ANY language, but TM pulled it off beautifully too. Being from Lucknow, he wasn't too far from that area and probably knew instinctively how to take on the nuances of that dialect like a duck takes to water. And it's always a delight to see the winsome smile of Kum Kum. Thanks, MoleculaRafian.
