The song is lame, I had to listen to crap like that when I used to go to church. God never called anybody to be in an "army" which is one reason why it's lame. You're not going to fight anyone. Christians are called to be children of the Most High, that is it. Not as some lame cadets in a military, how utterly lame. This song makes me gag.

Ah I remember doing this song in vacation bible school and whatnot when I was a kid. Not exactly one who was best behaved in a church setting. Anyway, during this song a friend and I, and possibly some others but at the very least the two of us would accompany the song by imitating approriate sound effects to match with the lyrics. You know, "NEEEEEEEEEEEEEER" plane type noises and rapid gun firing noises and so forth. Our sunday school teachers were less than amused.
