atleast my freind gave me spore i enjoyed the cell and creature stage and i have to say this original looks fantastic they made this game too kid freindly it should be more realistic with blood and gore with more deadly body parts

I can definitely see why Spore was changed. This version has too many unneeded stages and too much gore. Also it doesn't look like you could create your own buildings or vehicles of any kind.

If you ask me (though I will still say this regardless) the main problem with Spore was that it was too objective driven, rigid and formulaic and all the stages before space were just something to get through until you reach space. In the end all of the player's crative content was just superficial.

The appeal of the spore vision was supposed to be in its simple structure and freedom for the player, but in the end it was just the same thing over and over again.

Perhaps if they rebooted it?

To be honest this verson looks so muc better than the realzed spore. I mean the realsed one was ok. But they could make it much better, im not game desginer so its not really my place to critize.

But they said aquatic stage would be the frist thing they would add for an expansion. As well i find creature stage a bit too simple and repetietive. I think it should be more like the old one.

To those complaining about them remove the aquatic stage. They never created anything besides concepts, why do you think they're isn't any footage? As for the 'gore', would've liked it don't really care, don't change the gameplay.

i think they should have somthing that switches the blood off and on for kid even though it would alway be on for me. and i think the creature editor should be way more advanced like more part createing your own hands feet detail and head parts. also have more abilites like chageing color and more. mabye their could also be traits you can switch on and off like sheding skin mateing seasons pack and herd counts too oh don't forget real flight thats just a bit of my thoughts

My friends have played the game, sent me vids.... It looks AWESOME. But, Cell, Creature, and Tribal do not live up to the awesomness. On those stages there not that fun.

The stages were not so much meant to show the differnt levels of the game, but more to show the process of events which occur.

not really to be jonny raincloud or anything, but there isnt a water stage, and stage 5 and 6 are the same, also stage 7 is also 8 and 9. in reality, 1 is cell (pacman), 2 is creature (diablo), 3 is tribe (age of empires), 4 is civilization (empire earth 2 and 3), and 5, space, is so big that it is essentially a sandbox mode game. Well, besides that nice job, except that i would fix it :D
