the movie didn't suck. if anyone would give it a chance instead goin into the movie with negative feelings. they made a whole new story by involving the previous one and adding in new thoughts. Of course none of u can see that because u keep crying and complaining about how the movie wasn't an exact adaption of the anime. This is a great movie that i would recommend to peole willing to give it a chance. It's a 4 out of 5.

u got it wrong about yamcha he wasnt like the yamcha in the anime he wasnt developed like he is in the anime yamcha in the anime was scared of girls especially bulma he was a fighter and he had black hair. @TaFutureBoy for characters i think they were all good. some of the plot was changed but at the heart it was still great. setting felt great but master roshi island should have water by it. special effects was awesome. bulma did have guns in the show. dbe took the elements from avatar in attempt to make it more realistic. since kid goku and adult has been done already so it made since to make dbe. piccolo didn't fight the monkey at the end and piccolo killed gohan to give goku a reason to fight.

that is how I understand their relationship during goku's teenage years in the anime.

You're right. Yamcha was well done. He just didn't have enough screen time to get his character developed, making him a not very interesting character.
