  • Hi I have the same problem. One day I turned it on and it didnt work.

When I press FN and F8 I only have the option for bluetooth no wireless.

tied reinstalling. Then I bought a USB wireless but it was no good.

Would I have to uninstall this to get your way to work. If it is a hardware problem

how can I find out where to buy a wireless LAN card

My laptop is a setelite T130-13L

  • will this work the same way on an older Sattelite? Mine runs on XP and it doesn't recognize any wireless networks

  • So thank you for this, now I do get wireless. However, when I try to download something or use a Torrent or anything, it almost immediately cuts out again and the only way I can get it to recognize that I have a networking card again is to restart. Any ideas?

  • Hi u wouldn't happen to know how to assist me with my toshiba sattellite error message would u? I really need help. I tried to restore it to factory settings and now I get this error message whenever it starts back up...03-ffff-oooo I cannont use safe mode or config to a restore point either. This is the error only thing that shows up

  • @allayna82 If you didn't back up your data , it is lost. There is a warning on the system disk. If your hard drive was partitioned , which I always suggest, then you can simply install a new OS on the first partition without affecting anything saved on the other partition. Always split your hard drive into one partition for OS and the other for data. Use the disk that came with the system or load a new OS.

I always back up my data on external media in case something like this happens.

  • @allayna82 You didn't mention if desktop , laptop, manufacturer or OS. This info would help me better to troubleshoot.

  • nvm i fixed my computer i had a virus

  • Damn what should I do??? I tried to turn back wireless on but it doesn't work like the turn on button is disabled...

  • I did the same thing as u did but I still have no connection....and my comp is toshiba windows 7..

  • @Sexydrigo I am on windows Vista . This repair is only good for Vista . As far as I know. I have another laptop ( a Dell Pentium Dual Core T4300 running at 2.1 Ghz ) that uses the Intel ( R ) WIFI link5100 AGN and no problems ) . The problem I mentioned is related to Toshiba computers only and the Atheros modem. A software conflict is not out of the question ! After I got my other LPTP I backed up my data and reloded. No problemo. I think Toshiba has a fix with update. Let me know !!

  • @Sexydrigo Sorry for the late reply.

  • Thank you so fucking much dude i couldnt figure it out and i was so frusturated. Thank you.
