  • i think this is my fav album by current 83

  • A beautiful piece this is.

  • A classmate of mine introduced me to C93 a few months ago. It took me a while to accept this different sound. I keep on trying to understand the songs. They really are mysterious and leave you wondering. I like that, it makes me think a lot.

  • XYou guys got real taste..... Swiss Greetings 2 da world and the good times!!!!!!!!

  • ...unbelievable beautiful - like it ever was and will be!

  • what an powerful song,

the universal diremption of myriad doubts

and at last the stars are marching sadly home...

  • This is a great song, it has very strong imagery. I love the lines:

    "should a storm break

    and hail all around us

as some savage and blind god"

I really didn't like C93's "Black ships" and haven't heard anything by Tibet since then, I might as well keep up.

  • It's all an illusion.......we have done this a hundred times before............

  • makes me want to read Songs of a Dead Dreamer

  • @98047301 too it's impossible to find a copy that isn't $80. Google books I guess..

Anyone else notice that the main melody in this song is very similar to the opening lines in Michel Polnareff's song 'Voyages'?

  • @macklemoreosis I got mine at retail price. : )

  • makes me want to read about Gormenghast

  • This album is WONDERFUL. One of the best albums i've ever heard... Hearing it is just an unique experience. I think so many things when I listen to it...

  • cinematic

  • I love it.. but I feel like I am going to cry. <3

  • Picture matches the music perfectly.

  • @IvoryDoll

    Pretentious much?

  • @Stagnant197 yeah I take your point, but at least that allows for something original,I guess you either get with it or don't,...

  • watch?v=YmuVMQp1lQw

  • What the hell???

  • Haha who says he's acting?

  • @Agallochness i think s/he meant to say his voice is dramatic. it's just emotional emphasis. most art is dramatic...

  • this is good! I like it

  • One of the most beautiful albums I've ever heard

    it makes me cry

  • OMG!!!!! its very very amazing this music T.T

  • A friend put this song on a mixtape when I was 16...I was never the same after that

  • @phenememe was it Kimmy

  • @phenememe you have good friends

  • @phenememe

Me either. Only differences is is that my rapist was playing this song when he was doing his thing with me.

  • @phenememe - Good thought...and good share.

Most instigators remain largely anonymous..others become largely famous.

  • divine

  • a u picku materinu kako je dobra

  • What an AMAZING song - it invokes such strong emotions

  • Twistedly beautiful.

  • oh wow... simply undiscribeble.

that kind of biuty you don't get to listen to every day.

  • "I have such nightmares./And you're all in all of them."

  • LSD

  • i tryed to listen it but i don't like that... sorry guys

  • Not as much as you.

  • about??????

  • this piece of music is f'n phenomenal.

  • And fucking addictive...

  • Its an interesting and beautiful song.

    He tolds us an tale.

    Listen to him...

  • I love the vocal effects on this track.

His voice is so different. I wouldn't say weird at all, just that's different from what I'm used to.

I love the ambiance and the lead guitar track coming together to mold a nice weave of music.

  • i just love current

  • If by these words you tried to mean "calm and beautiful sad song" so I agree with you.

  • One of my favorite Current 93 songs?

    u're right.

  • an deep explaination of heaven, that lyes beyond the sea of time, somewhere beneath the "known",in a wombed streaming street, encircled, but yet gone,if forever will ever take an end,may we sleep for never wake again, and if though free to choose

  • ...umm, hmmm...

  • I walk into the altar room

All the Buddhas are smashed there

    Avalokitesvara's hundred faces lie shattered

    I have done this

  • @Lizaveta000 and some savange and blind God hands us to us birds dropp all round us

  • I would've died a thousand times already without this shit leveling my rage...

  • "They laugh and blow kisses at the moon"

    *swoons*

  • Boys, music can be bought also online, not only in music shops. And the web is full of "virtual" shops selling C93.

  • That's no fun.

  • at all

  • @Agallochness I agree, I love going to shops and feeling the case when I go to purchase it. And Agallochness, in hopes you may know this, I'm trying to figure the chords to this, do you happen to know them?

  • I do not, sadly. I'd recommend finding a friend with a good ear for this sort of thing, because they don't seem to be available online (that is, they weren't when I checked a few months back).

  • @Agallochness Well thank you my friend, I'm currently awaiting my disc with it to get in so I'll have more time to figure it out since all my friends with good ears for this are too busy right now. Again, thanks for the answer.

  • @MisterBrokenString Thank you a lot.

  • Six, Six, Six.

    It makes us sick.

    We're sick, sick, sick of

    Six, Six, Six.

  • ....... =) ....

  • C93, I think, is the very definition of "difficult music" -- in the best sense of the term.

  • First heard this when I bought 'England's Hidden Reverse'.

A great book and an awesome band.

  • All the Pretty Little Horses is one of my favourite albums in the world. It would be in a top 5 if I had one.

  • This is great! what album is this from?

  • All The Pretty Little Horses.

  • I must say, you have fabulous taste in music, what with your video post and--well, the assumption that your screen name doesn't simply refer to the fragrant wood. :P

  • Why thank you. And no, it doesn't refer to the wood =)

  • I really don't understand all the delayed gratification posts... I bought crooked crosses on a whim 5 years ago and have been into them forever now. But alas, I had to go out of state to get the albums i have

  • I agree, but I think there are a lot of layers to C93 that make it easier to appreciate over time. Luckily there's a music shop near my dorm that carries both Current and Death In June, but I've never seen Sol Invictus on the shelf ANYWHERE. It's realy depressing.

  • Don't be depressed ... Sol can't hold a candle to C93. I've never heard anything from SI that didn't suck.

  • "The bird is dead now..."

It took me 7 years of persistence to 'get' C93, but once the penny dropped I was obsessed...still am. This is a beautiful track from an wonderful band.

  • yeah, it definitely takes some time to get to really like the album. it was 2 years for me, heh.

one of the best songs by c93, thanks.

  • a great song, this album took me a long time to appreciate considering the unusual style of this band, but what a treat it is once u get it
