I am a kwaj kid, I miss my emon beach. I also miss being a lifeguard on the beach. Loved days like this, which were rare due to the fact the storms would form over us and move away before turning into anything really big.

Looks like they are having a blast! There is not to much going on so it must be a big event. I don't remember anything like that other than Santa arriving on a marine helicopter or a movie at the outdorr theater. I can't remember the number of our trailer but I remember the basketball goal and the sunsets from the lagoon side. Someday I will get around to posting some of the slides dad shot while we were there. I am in the 66 Ekatak, 1st grade. My favorite memories are from Kwaj.

Miss Kwaj, used to do TDY as a contractor there for weeks at a time. Did some fishin with Capt. Dennis from the WWTP. Is he still there? Great cap and finder of glass balls.

@Cedrusdeodara nope C. Dennis Baker PCSd back to Cali to take care of elderly parent. I work with Dennis from 2001 till I PCSd in 2005, I have a bunch of glass balls from his collection. I have great stories to tell of his adventures to Bikar and Taongi Atoll in 2002.
