  • Enlightening. Thanks for sharing.

  • So funny))) xD

  • LEMURS FTW

  • Richard Dawkins new book, 'the greatest show on earth" has some really cool still's of the sikafa, looks ninja like.

  • What is that monkey?

    Well it isnt a monkey.

The title of the video explains what it is.

    And why is it funny?

They are wondrous and beautiful creatures.

  • its not a monkey, its a lemur

  • Christianity is a good system of mythology, and Imma let you finish, but Zoroastrianism had the greatest pantheon of all time. OF ALL TIME.

  • @mullingitover how the hell did you got to discussing about religion in a lemurs video???

  • To cayetanoluis who answered my comment: To Jesus there are no issues without answer, since he in the spirit of God knows everything, and the purpose of being a follower of Jesus is to become like him. Thus do not be so sure of that no one is a true christian who can give you answer to your "issues". However, a true christian on the way to the kingdom of God does not argue or discuse with anyone, so this is my last answer to you.

  • Belief in an all-knowing, all-powerful supreme cosmic dictator who created the universe is not only very childish and illogical, it's simply ridiculous and highly embarrassing for any serious adult to admit.

The clear cognitive dissonance displayed by followers of organised religion is currently the world's most pressing mental health challenge.

For those ready to seek help, the book The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins may be a good place to start.

  • @HumanistWikitopian

you're a fuckin weird ass. how is the logic that there is a supreme being that created and placed all the ingredients on the earth for life to evolve and happen, any less logical than the fact that a tiny little ball of mass exploded into all the matter in the universe today. first off, thats ridiculous, second, where did that super dense ball of matter come from? huh? yeah you have no answer to that. then third, how did everything just happen so perfectly, life is COMPLEX

  • @jhaz89

Where did I write anything here about a "tiny little ball of mass" or a "super dense ball of matter"?

Did you reply to the wrong comment or are you just imagining words that aren't there?

I assume that you're referring to the “Big Bang” theory, which has nothing whatsoever to do with this video or anything that I have written here. If that is the case then I suggest that you simply Google the phrase "Big Bang" to educate yourself.

  • @HumanistWikitopian

the fact is you dont fucking know shit, your explanation of life will have major holes in it. i'd like hear your theory on where that super dense ball of matter came from that caused the big bang. lets hear it you hippy dumbass tree hugger mother fucker

I assume that you're referring to "Abiogenesis" and the “Big Bang” theory, which have nothing whatsoever to do with this video or anything that I have written here. If that is the case then I suggest that you simply Google the phrases, "Abiogenesis" and “Big Bang”, to educate yourself.

  • Thanks for posting this. Incredibly beautiful what evolution has wrought!

  • ZABOOMAFOO!!!!!!!!

  • "the marvels of creation speak of God"

You mean like the Ebola virus? Does that speak of God?

  • "Or do you think that humans are so innocent that God has no reason to punish them?"

No, I'm just wondering why God would want to engineer a virus that makes your liver crack and your blood fill with urea. If you think this speaks of God's "righteousness", then you've got issues my friend.

  • Correction of my comment: discuss

  • Correction of my comment: All kinds of

  • Correction of your comment. God doesn't exist.

  • I wonder if they have problems with splinters.

  • These are my personal faves. Lemurs are my favorite animals too.

  • I cannot wait to see it!

  • "what do lemurs eat?" oh my god. I guess corn flakes would be fine

  • doesn't it hurt them?!?!?!

  • lol yea i know i was saying "OW!" when i was watching, but i tihnk they use them more like smile footholds...steps if you will

  • Does anybody know where this clip originated from? I would like to find the entire video.

  • It's from the Life of Mammals narrated by David Attenborough. Excellent BBC series!

  • Thanks, I have the series, I don't remember this part. Do you remember which episode?

  • Party in the Jungle, is the episode name.

  • The episode title is called, Party in the Jungle.

  • ooooooooo..floare floare floare:D

  • They remind me of the movie Madagascar..Such funny animals :)

  • thats insanely fascinating how they are able to leap like that; the skill, prescision, judgement and consistency. So interesting to watch creatures in their own habitats.

  • geez, the one that hopped from one cactus to another (the ending) all i can say is OUCH

  • It didn't explain how the quadrupedal mongoose thing was able to move about the canopy's like that. It isn't a primate and therefore does not have an opposable thumb or enhanced vision to make the precision perfect... So how did it get around like that? Good Balance?

  • also see the youtube clip named

    "Hail to the lemurs"

  • Comment removed

  • @Backflip13 yessir

  • Zoboomafoo!!

  • my dream pet

  • its ok to like animals without being so damn self absorbed as to 'own' one, view from the distance they will live longer that way.

  • I don't want to 'own' one, but I'd like one hopping about my house and backyard, and clinging on to me as I watch telly.

Is that too much to ask? :-P
