  • nice video. i like that.

  • @RovingLandRover in one jump like a wall run in parkour?

  • @OmegaCenti i agree with the wrong grapple hook but with the tabi and the knots you can fastly and officiantly climb up..... I once climbed a fifteyfoot wall in about 60 seconds.

  • where did you get the ninja equiptment?

  • @misterrapistguyzing its not ive done it

  • what knot did u use

  • how do you tie the loops?

  • how do you tie the loops?

  • Within 4 minutes in, I would have to say this is absolutely the worst grappling commentary video I have stumbled upon. First up: The caribiner clip used in this video is a sure-fire way to end up dead at the base of whatever you are climbing. use a TRIPLE-ACTION auto-locking caribiner when your life is on the line. Period. Second: The throwing technique. Look up Throw-line techniques. Third, knots in rope and toes: Forget toes. Use a foot locking technique. Faster and much more safe. Bad Ninja!

  • @OmegaCenti my newer videos I think are better with climbing.

  • thank you sir subscribed and nice outfit

  • @2:41 tabi boots

  • if you could do parkour, you wouldn't need a grappling hook to climb that small wall

  • @0krellik0skux0 i know thats what I am trying to do now.

  • @0krellik0skux0 my highest wallrun to-date is12'6" :) so shiny

  • @takemasu45 nice dude

  • is using a grappling hook to climb a wall at a park in California illegal? i just bought a grappling hook online and i dont know if it is legal or not

  • @MegaGuitarmaster101 i don't know friend.

  • This guy a ninja good job making the video man how much are grappling hooks with the rope anyways?

  • how secure are these things?

  • use the real climbing way to roll rope.

    across the elbow and hand

  • Good video, I'm sorry but I see a problem can you explain? I don't think you should use your knees because believe me it will kill you, you probably know that, so wouldn't it be more effective and less stress on the knees if you push off with your feet and walk and pull yourself up?

  • xD i liked when he said if your climbing several 100ft, imagine that throw!

  • Yeah that would be sick, but I meant like rapelling down a cliff. @XxWhoopaxX

  • Great video man... Very helpful...

  • Thanks for watching I have more grappling hook training video's on my page. @joezbackwith2gatz in the climbing devices video playlist

  • @ShinobiMystic Thanks...I'll Check them out... You have some awesome skills man... Keep up the good work.

  • did u learn free running?

  • @0StarShot0 I am learning that and parkour agility type exercises into my video's.

  • Basically in one years time you show a hook you made. The best wins. No prize but you get a new hook. You have to have it portable and able to work.

  • @WeaponSamurai alright I will work on that this winter after I am done working on mu obstacle courase, making a naginata, then will give thiis a try. Thanks.

  • @ShinobiMystic sounds great

  • You know we are having a contest to see who can make the best grappling hook. You should join.

  • Yes how do I join. @WeaponSamurai

  • just shows you ...there are things even a ninja cant handle+ rope tangles .....:D

nice video by the way man ...found it helpful

  • Also, where can I get the hook and harnes? Thanks!

  • How long is the rope that you use?

  • thank i just sub to you

  • ninja

  • lol nice vid and i kno thats not the point but could reach that branch o fthe tree u coulda just jumped down it lol

  • now all you need s a gun to launch it and you will be a spy ninja

  • what kind of rope that and where did you get the hook

  • do you have to have the chain?

  • No you don't I just use it to prevent fraying. @dzk668

  • SO are you a Ninja darn it? I didn't think this stuff was possible, well done :O

  • @Aquahorseify I am trying my best, thanks for watching.

  • lol freakin cool man! but. lol ninjas can wall run up that wall hahaha just saying. im not hating. just saying.

ye hahaha thats pretty awesome. i wish i could do that hahahaha o and where did you get those shoes?

  • helped a lot

  • why are you wearing a mask?

  • @mrmp34 You silly boy... Everyone knows that any self respecting ninja wears a facemask!

  • did you make your own tabi boots ?

  • Thats a unique way of coiling a rope. Nice vid never the less

  • aw!!! im so exited get my grappling hook!im gonna climb up trees and stuff!!!! :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

  • Thx for this informational video

  • you are ready for Armageddon

  • the knots in the rope is a pretty god idea, never thought of doing it that way

  • love the video!

i like how you used the knots, great advice.

  • @NicaKrnKid thanks for watching friend.

  • Just curiou ho do i remove it from say, a fork in a tree

  • i love the loops in the rope idea..and the knots..NICE

  • That's not how you coil rope

  • @BunnyTheLifeGaurd36 well thats how I do it.

  • i was expecting something a little bit more.. how do i say this. Professional.

But i guess in real life people do look like morons xd

  • how much is one of those? I want one

  • I really want one of those!!!!!!!!!!!! how much is a good one?

  • Great vid Mystic! I wanna go climb something now!

  • What kind of rope did u use that had those loops for ur foot, if u tied it urself, could you point a video or something explaining how to knot it like tht. I'm no good with knots.

  • I know this video's a bit old, but looks like you're having a bit of trouble with the rope getting stuck on your tabi boots.

  • I know this video's a bit old, but looks like you're having a bit of trouble with the rope getting stuck on your tabi boots.

  • I know this video's a bit old, but looks like you're having a bit of trouble with the rope getting stuck on your tabi boots.

  • i learnt so much thank you

  • would this be good for say swinging across a canal =D

  • The swing looks very fun lol.

  • please make a vid showing how to tie the rope to Climb , i dont think mines right and i want to make sure before i go climbing

  • although the Grappling hook is effective, it is not very stealthy because it clanks against objects, in most case the Monkey fist is more stealthily effective for fences, use multi-breaded cotton rope or mountain climbers rope. as a Ninja, Stealth is the up most importance because you do not want your opponent to hauler out for back up.

  • @onthecuttingedge2005 uhh are in like the army or something or are you just one of those wierd retards?

  • What sort of rope do you use for this? My grappling hook came with somewhat slippery and slightly stretchy thin rope that doesn't seem too good for vertical climbing, though it works well when climbing slippery, snowy hills.

  • @ClydeSha212 This is camo utility rope. It is pretty good. but I have a new climbing method.

  • Is this the $20 grappling hook they sell at TrueSwords? It looks a lot like it!

  • dude this is so cool ur look like a real ninja trying to climb up a tree and assassinate someone lol

  • how did you make the loops in the rope you climbed?please respond

  • just a simple knot. Try to find one that won't slide.

  • @ShinobiMystic I still dont understand what you mean

  • how do u climb without a wall like to put ur feet on

  • I will be making more climbing videos soon and you will see.

  • I found this very helpful, Wonderful video friend

    I subscribed ;D

  • Thanks for watching I will be posting more grappling hook soon.

  • Nice

  • soo badass

  • O.K. Mike, Thank You Very Much

  • are there any GOOD grappling hooks that are less than 50 bucks

  • you can get the expensive ones for cheap if they have them on ebay. But otherwise I don't know.

  • if its a shorter wall the wall jump if you can

    cool video

  • yes I agree

  • thank you shinobimystic. i have a question. everytime i try to climb i find it impossible to squeeze my foot through the loops, and i founf that i had made the knots too close, so i made them larger then i was unable to put the foot high enough. can you please be more specific on exactly how far appart the knots have to be? any other tips on this subject? thank you

  • Yeah it is a bit difficult.

I will be posting new climbing methods video's soon. Just use your toes to poke between the holes or use your hand to separate the two. But I believe now there are better methods.

The spacing is from the bottom of my foot to the begging of my knee so I know I can raise my foot that high. So measure that way.

    Thanks for watching.

  • thank you Shinobimystic. those tips were very helpfull i was able to climb very well today. one more question, i bought a couple of carabiner clips from the hardware store theyre about 145 kg but it says do not use for climbing and human weight. should i use them anyway? thanks again you are a legend

  • No you should not use it unless you are picking up equipment or some kind of load rendered for that connection.

But I would not advise that, you can find other carabiner clips made of other materials to better support you.

    I hope this helps.

  • ah, well i think i will use them. i have no idea where to buy carabiner clips for climbing. actually i was using this clip that was probably no more than 100 pounds before the one i bought today that was previously used to hoist a flag:) . i think i will take the way of the ninja and take the risk. a true ninja must be prepared to die. thanks anyway:) its an inspiration to watch your vids

  • OK friend, but don't go thinking I am approving it in any way. I am very sure you can get a better gauge caribiner, if you want I could probably send you one.

    Take care.

  • thanks ill be alright though ive tested them before. take care

  • @bobilla

Yeah but you're not a true ninja..

  • @JKBearness no I am not a true ninja, there is only one true ninja alive.

  • and nobody has ever seen him!

  • who is that?

  • @MarshalNey13 Masaki Hatsumi grandmaster of Ninjutsu look up Bujinkan

  • @ShinobiMystic

That was a test, young grasshopper. I was afraid you were going to say Ashida Kim!!!

  • thankyou for this video it helps alot

  • Thanks for watching.

  • great vids and that but i was wondering...what do you actually do?

  • I am just training in the forest, but plan on joining the military in the future.

  • thanks it helped a ton i could learn alot from you on grappling

  • I am glad. I will be posting more soon I just got more grappling hooks.

  • how did u tie the loops

  • just tied the rope around itself.

  • which grappling hook are you using?

  • I am using a steel hook.

  • as in the brand or company who makes it or is it homemade?

  • i dunno I dont' have that hook any more It broke after filming this video. it was cheap though like 20 bucks. Try getting a nice military grade one friend.

  • i heard those suck,by the way i use throwing stars do you have any videos on shuriken tequniques?

  • no one hook is not the worst......none is

  • Great job it helped out alot thank you

  • Thanks for watching. I have many more in my climbing devices video log on my main page.

  • where can i get these boots and what is the real name of them.

  • Tabi Boots, or ninja boots or shoes.

  • I like it, and I think it's cool that you go out and have fun with this stuff!

  • thanks for watching friend.

  • If you would, I would like to see you have two of those ropes and cradle yourself. Take the second on and throw it as if you where climbing up a really high wall. Wind the first rope up by attaching yourself to the second rope and then climb up the 2nd one and then use the 1st one again if you had to. =]

  • I don't really understand what you mean friend.

  • Do the cradle like you did but have a second rope with you as spare. You could use that second rope to toss in another spot and climb up. Almost if the wall was to tall for one rope or you had to switch to another wall.

  • Yes. That would be fantastic wouldn't it. That would definitely work.

  • Why do u need a grappling hook in this place? U can just run up the wall, it's not so high.

  • very cheap equipment just btw. dont buy that grappling hook for like 20$ not reliable, will break.

  • yeah I agree, that is why I have a better one now, this is an old video.

  • cool video

  • Thanks for watching.

  • make a video on how to tie a rope like u did to climb easier

  • you got it.

  • get ninja boots so u can climb more easier

  • right on.

  • do u do a simple knot with 2 ropes and u just use about the first 3 feet of chain then rope right?

  • Yes that is right.

  • I like the chain idea. Aside from the use of climbing, it would be a good defencive weapon. Being a Shinobi you must know how anoying it can get carrying lots of equipment. If you dont know how to fight with a Kaginawa, id be glad to show you how. Thanks for the methods :)

  • Yes often I carry a slim back pack with my equipment. I would love to see what you know, The Kaginawa is much like the kusari fundo and kusari gama.

  • where can i get a really good quality grappling hook?

  • TRG GRABBER GRAPPLING HOOK $163.09

  • look in the video details.

  • I bought one exactly like yours today for 21.99

  • be careful those cheap ones suck.

  • ok so im prolly gonna get a cheap one off ebay for like 20-30 bucks, i wont be using it a ton i just want one to have and mess around with, will i be ok?

  • Yeah that might be ok, just don't climb anything too high and please remember the weight test.

  • Yeah they are sure fun.

  • Nice werk!! Where did u get the hook from??

  • look in the video details.

  • Thats awesome!

I'm going to have to admit, that guy looks pretty intimidating.

  • u should get the foot spike so u can dig ur feet into the wood

  • man, you really should learn some climbing technics. In youtube you can find many videos w/ knots (search for climbing tools), anchors... also, if you could (like in the branch) take some coils of rope and throw it over getting 2 ropes comin down the branch. Then you could use some prussik knot and footlock (using a certified harness) and get the same result, using no grapling hook. But you really should get professional advise. you might get hurt.

  • Can you Please tell me where you got your Grappling hook and how much please send it to me in message form if thats ok thatnks and by the way great video

  • Please watch Grappling Hook Training Spring 2009 Video 1of 4

  • look in the video details.

  • Is that why the boots are split toe?

  • one reason I believe.

  • great vid

  • Thanks for watching. I have many more Climbing Video's.

  • No I have not, but that make sense and it is super strong.

  • where do you get the rope and chain? also how long do you want as in how high can you throw the hook?

  • I have a new grappling hook series out please check it out. That should answer your question, but I have a 30 foot rope.

  • I have made a few grappling hooks & have been looking for a way to coil the rope in a cone for throwing this was the first time I have seen it done thanks man 5*

  • Yeah you like that, works very well. You can do it if you have a hose for water and such. Peace be with you friend. Be careful up there in the trees.

  • how much was that hook and where did you get it, and is there a rope guide to make it.

  • I got a cheap hook, and it broke after making this video so please don't use it to climb high. Also there is no rope guide I just got a 60 foot rope and tied it together to make it 30 feet.

  • nice!

have you ever lost a rappel i a tree a dared not go up cos it was caught on only one hook?

  • No I have alway gotten it down, if it was stuck up there well I would climb up then use the rope to lower myself. Yes one hook is no good. Need 2-4 at least.

  • is that a rated carabiner? if not i wouldnt climb any higher than you do in this video, even so you could hurt yourself.. learn footlocking, climbing knots is for amatuers. and the reason there isnt alot of grappling hook videos on the net is so millions of kids dont go out and buy grappling hooks and get themselves hurt trying to emulate something(no offense) that is taught very poorly. which im sure has already happened. take a climbing course or learn from someone qualified before u get hurt

  • Yes that is rated carabiner, but I would advise not climbing too high. God forbid anything happens. Yes I agree I am just messing around here I would not want anyone to get hurt.

  • HOW WOULD YOU GET THE HOOK DOWN?

  • watch the end of the video

  • did you buy your equipment on trueswords?

  • no but i have seen it there.

  • lol i bought my ganin gear there
