Dream Theater desperately need material like this on the new record. Very reminiscent of Wait for Sleep/I&W era, which is good, but additionally it's fantastic on it's own and vocals may not even be required?

Also, re-introducing the classic DT font on the spine of the CD cover and perhaps even resurrecting the flaming heart logo as imagery for the next record would be KEY.

I think for me, dt fans and non fans that are mature enough is fine with the official statement. Actually, it's the best thing for now, being a professional, you have to choose your words "carefully." Like for one, the more you talk about it, the more you will fuel the fire for further discussion and statement request. even a single sentence could be interpreted into different meanings..

and of course they are sad, but they can't go and make a crying statement every hour, everyday.
