  • this song is typical Asian drama style waltz music....you can find countless similar songs starting with shows like a kdrama like "Spring Waltz"

  • Gong Li is gorgeous:)

  • Please, someone can tell me wicth music is this? Thanks!

  • asians love louis vuitton. my local upscale mall the wealthy nj asians swarm abercrombie saks louis vuttion and all the other high fashion brands

  • whats the name of this song?

  • Anyone know the artist / name of the song played? Thanks

  • Very nice. such a stark contrast.

  • Targeted at unmarried Asian cougarsin their early 40s who have successful careers.

  • Can someone please tell me what are the words written in Chinese?

I need to know what are those words as I 'm making a work for school in Marketin about Louis Vuitton, Thannkkss

  • @nirvaness

    The words in Chinese are:

    1) reminiscence

    2) search

    3) the depth of Beijing

  • What are the words written in chinese?

Can someone please translate them to me in order as I need to understand the word (im doing a marketing case on LV at uni) thanlkks

  • Gong Li is beautiful

  • Just because your beautiful doesn't mean you rich. Plenty of beautiful women have poor husbands and themselves are not quite "wealthy" in the sense of their purchasing power. So why would the target audience be women who could be models? Since models already should/could have luxury goods, why aim at them? Instead, LV commercials are aimed at the upper middle-class and lower upper class folks who wish to be conspicuous.

  • i didn't get it

  • @FabGirlJulia Explore, travel, that's the meaning, I think, I love that feeling when you go somewhere not knowing what to expect, I think that's what they're implying

  • @Danielsevilla27 The ad should be understandable for everybody....I don't see the woman travelling anywhere rather than in her own neighborhood!...in some crapy place for jankies....probably looking for a drug dealer...LOL

  • @FabGirlJulia LMFAO, idk, I hope not, maybe they want to make it look cheap to lure people, but after they see the price, God knows what they will do lol

  • The video is from an advert for "Soundwalk", an audio tour of a city. Louis Vuitton partnered with Soundwalk for tours of Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong. The Beijing tour, narrated by Gong Li, won the 2009 Audie Award for Best Original Work. A more complete advert can be found on YouTube by searching for "soundwalk gong li".

  • worst ad ever!

  • shes very beautiful

  • this is beautiful. and the woman looks happy, its totally a nostalgic feel. I think this is great.

  • gong li kind of doesn't belong to the LV.!

  • i still think its kinda weird to relate LV to HU TONG. i guess the idea here is to show the classy, and traditional side of the brand. but ... gong li doesnt seem like she belongs there

  • "gong li doesnt seem like she belongs there"

    22Typhoon,

How many LV Bags do YOU owned?

Gong Li is THE Target Audiences in China! That's just like Paris Hilton is THE Target Audiences in USA! Let's face it.... YOU just don't get it!! >=)

  • @IronJackalTw i think you got my idea wrong. gong li can definitely well present the ideology lv wants to carry though, im just saying that i dont see her belongs to hu tong. its weird to me and its only personal opinion.

  • @IronJackalTw i also don't think how your question related to my first comment. because owning a lot of lv bags won't make my words more credential.vice versa. I don't think gong li and paris hilton are the target audiences. are you trying to say their fans are? or they are the fashion icon?

  • "because owning a lot of lv bags won't make my words more credential.vice versa. I don't think gong li and paris hilton are the target audiences"

    22Typhoon,

Why would LV make Commericals showing UGLY FAT BITCHES that NO RICH GUYS would ever want and have NO MONEY of their own to buy their LV Bags? Trust me! Those HOT BABES are the Number One CONSUMERS of those LV Bags!

BTW, Gong Li is married to Singaporean businessman, Ooi Hoe Soeng, in 1996! She can swim in LV Bags in her rooms!! >=P

  • @IronJackalTw im not saying she is not good enough for lv. i personally feel weird seeing her in hu tong. coz she doesnt live in one of the hong tongs.

and OK. i got ur point. LV if for HOT BABES who HAS MONEY and who will marry RICH GUYS :)

  • "im not saying she is not good enough for lv. i personally feel weird seeing her in hu tong."

    22Typhoon,

Hu Tong is a Historical Site to many Chinese, but it is also a backward Ghetto now!

Gong Li represent the HOT East Asian Girls (BEAUTY) that should not belong in that UGLY AS HELL Ghetto!

Now, would any WEALTHY East Asian Men please buy her the LV Bags that she wanted!?

That's the PURPOSE of this Commerical from a sneaky French Company to go after the growing Chinese Upper Class!! ;-)

  • @IronJackalTw i lost in your argument. bottom line. you quote my words but didn't really say you are agree with it or not? don't u think its a lit bit weird? that's my point ever since my first post. i don't know why you got so offended. and how many time i have to stress that its my personal opinion.

  • "why you got so offended"

    22Typhoon,

Offended at YOU (hmm.... self-importance.... are we)!? Can China (include HK), Singapore, Taiwan, or even most of the East Asia make Luxury Products to export to the WEST? If I'm offended at anything, it is the INCOMPETENCE of our Entrepreneurs in the East Asia to make MONEY off the WEST at the Luxury Products LEVEL! LV Bags goes for almost $3,000+! How much is cost of making those LV Bags? It is probably no more than $300!! =/

  • @IronJackalTw You obviously dont know whats my point ever since the first comment. You just create so many other arguments that im not interested in, and you keep wandering from one topic to another. and a lot of your english doesn't make any sense :( if you can't express your thoughts in english, i know how to read chinese, and i would prolly understand you better -_-'

  • @IronJackalTw you sound retarded

  • Does anyone noe what's the music used in this ad?

  • lol, never saw a sign of LV but it awesome...

and how come i don't see any louis vuitton commercials here in US?!

  • Erm, at the end it says Louis Vuitton.

  • i'm talking about lv products.

  • @wWeFaN031694 I think it's because the commercial is made in China...so yeah...

    fake .

    just kidding . hehehehe

  • It looks more like a diamond commercial.

  • yes imagine diamonds...

  • thats because the sound background they used is similar to De Beers----a famous Diamond company.

  • I assumed that much, and I thought DeBeers was the only diamond company, buying all the mined stones to control supply and demand, or in other words the price.

  • You should buy a product from Louis Vuitton. Only then you'll realize how amazing the perfectionist and luxury-ultra-fine craftmanship they put in their products.

  • I've shopped LV for probably 15-20 years, have a boatload of stuff, and I am always adding to it.

  • You shouldn't hate gay people. It's very unAmerican.

  • Where did that come from?

  • Too busy looking at Li To care about the bag.

  • i dont see the bag anywhere.

    but it's really cool.

    really good shots.

  • Sweetheart, LV commercials are not suppose to show the bags. It adds the mystery for the buyer to come into the shop and experience them itself.

If u happen to know, the polish model Monika Krol was cut from the original commercial because it featured a bag she was holding in the video. Its not suppose to show the bag---thats the "aesthetic" point.

  • thanks.

    i see the point. :)

  • love gong li

i like this ad because of the whole weird wonder atmosphere but i really dont see louisvuitton anywhere, i dont notice her clothes or nething

  • where is the bag??

  • Terrific cinematography.

  • beautiful photography.

  • just bad

  • i really like this commercial :)
