Hey! Why using C# if you kept learning ASM a while ago? C# is slow, overweighted with library codes and produces some outstandingly stupid output code. Tried it - was mostly like quickly writing something, then a lot of effort to get the code output look at least remotely sane.
Btw a small advice: never drive LEDs directly by port pins, you can easily exceed the MCU's safe current range and end up with a dead MCU. Better add PNP and NPN switches for row and column control, makes things safer!
@TheBypasser Thank you for your comments, now i know that drive LEDs directly by port pins is not good, at that time i'm just a beginner so that i didn't know how to drive LEDs.
Actually i'm trying hard to improve myself but I'm studying for University, so i can't keep built project for a while.... maybe one years ago i can do it again. :)

What are the white cables that run from the burg strip to the 8x8 called?
I have had to resort to using hand soldered wires to burg strips and they are simply horrible. (Tend to come off a lot.)
