  • You will need to remove all the pins that keep the gearbox in the lower receiver, as well as the pistol grip / motor assembly, so there is some "give" to the gearbox. Keep the lower reciever level, and angle the front of the upper receiver upward, so you end up cantilevering / wedging the recessed lip of the top receiver (which you are pointing at in 0:19 of the vid) into the inside of the bottom.

    there are pins on the receiver on the m4a1. Are u sure they are all the way in? Also it's not caught on anything it's just a bitch to fucking remove the goddamn thing.
