You didnt look hard enough for why the red light blinking. Could be from any app that you can get new messages from.

Red light for no messages, means you have a new tweet or facebook message on your wall and all

Read your manuals people. Green Light means your in coverage area, Red Light means you have a SMS/MMS/Email, Blue Light means your connected to bluetooth device, Amber means your battery is below 10%

Green:

You are in a wireless coverage area

Turn on wireless coverage notification

1. On the Home screen, click the Options icon.

2. Click Screen/Keyboard.

3. Set the LED Coverage Indicator field to On.

4. Press the Menu key.

5. Click Save.

When your BlackBerry® device is connected to the wireless network, the LED light flashes green.

To turn off wireless coverage notification again, set the LED Coverage Indicator field to Off

When its green that means that you are in a service area and you have no notifications. If its red then u either have an email or a text or some type of notification. If u don't have any of those take the battery out and reinsert it and it'll turn back to green like it should be.

thats y u dont get the phone wen it first come out u got to wait at least 6 months then get the phone cuz wen the phone come out it have a lot of bugs then in the next firmware they fix it so im going to wait for like almost a year to get that phone

Yeah SIM cards CAN be difficult to get it out sometimes, especially if they've been in there for a long time.
